TOUR TO GIZA PYRAMIDS AND GRAND EGYPTIAN MUSEUM
Pyramids of Giza - The Giza pyramid complex, also known as the Giza necropolis, in Egypt is home to the Great Pyramid, the Pyramid of Khafre, and the Pyramid of Menkaure, along with their associated pyramid complexes and the Great Sphinx. These were constructed during the Fourth Dynasty of the Old Kingdom of ancient Egypt, around 2600 to 2500 BC. The site also features several temples, cemeteries, and the remains of a workers’ village.
Grand Egyptian Museum - The Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM; Arabic: المتحف المصرى الكبير al-Matḥaf al-Maṣriyy al-Kabīr), also referred to as the Giza Museum, is an archaeological museum currently under construction in Giza, Egypt, approximately 2 kilometers (1.2 miles) from the Giza pyramid complex. The museum will showcase over 100,000 artifacts from ancient Egyptian civilization, including the complete Tutankhamun collection, with many items being displayed for the first time. With 81,000 m2 (872,000 sq ft) of floor space, it will be the world’s largest archaeological museum. It is being developed as part of a new master plan for the Giza Plateau, known as “Giza 2030”.
LUXOR DAY TOUR VISIT EAST AND WEST NILE BANKS
Temple of Karnak - Guests will be picked up from their hotel or Nile Cruise in Luxor by a tour guide and then transferred by a private air-conditioned vehicle to the East Bank to visit Karnak Temple, the greatest example of worship in history, dedicated to the God Amon, his wife Mut, and their son Khonsu.
Luxor Temple - The tour continues with a visit to the Temple of Luxor, built by Amunhotep III in the 18th Dynasty of the New Kingdom and completed by Ramesses II during the 19th Dynasty.
Valley of the Kings - On the West Bank, visitors will explore the Valley of the Kings, renowned for its magnificent architecture used for burials. Many kings are interred in this valley, including King Tutmosis I, Tutmosis III, Tutankhamun, King Ramesses VI, King Merenptah, and Amonhotep I.
Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el Bahari - The tour proceeds to the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, known as El Dir El Bahari, built by Queen Hatshepsut, the daughter of Thutmosis I, who ruled Egypt for about 20 years during the 18th Dynasty (approximately 1490-1469 B.C.), the only pharaonic woman to reign over ancient Egypt.
Colossi of Memnon - The day tour concludes with a visit to The Colossi of Memnon, the remains of the mortuary temple of Amenhotep III. The tour finishes with a drop-off at the customer’s hotel.
DAY TOUR TO ABU SIMBEL FROM ASWAN
Abu Simbel Temple Complex - At 6:00 am, a tour guide will pick up guests from their hotel in Aswan and drive south of Aswan, approximately a 3-hour drive, to enjoy a day tour of Abu Simbel by air-conditioned vehicle.
The two Temples of Abu Simbel, with their unique style, are considered masterpieces of ancient Egypt. They reflect the glory and grandeur of the New Kingdom. The Egyptian government and UNESCO collaborated to save these temples from flooding. The Temple of Ramses II was dedicated to the four universal gods Ptah, Re-Her-Akhtey, Amun-Re, and to Ramesses II himself. The great Abu Simbel temple is also known as The Sun Temple of Ramses II. The Temple of Queen Nefertari is also called the Temple of Hathor, who was the wife of the Sun God. Symbolically, the two temples, that of Ramesses II and that of Nefertari, unite Ramesses II, Nefertari, Hathor, and the Sun God as one. Visitors spend around 3 hours there before returning to Aswan.
