10/10 recommend - The listing was not exaggerating about 40+ types of food! Come hungry! Out amazing guide led us through a couple more local areas of Cairo, which we definitely would not have explored solo. We tried examples of breakfast, lunch, and dinner foods along with assorted street foods, drinks, and desserts. Along the way, our guide taught us about the historical and cultural significance of the foods. I would absolutely take this tour again.

This is it! This is the food tour to join! - This was the best food tour we have ever been on! It was clear that Magy is very passionate about introducing you to an amazing variety of Egyptian cooking flavors. Make sure you pace yourself early in the tour with small portions because there is so much delicious food to try. It’s apparent that she has put a lot of time and effort to make an unforgettable experience.

This was a one of a kind... - This was a one of a kind experience. We enjoyed going to the non touristy side of Cairo and getting to experience all the different local foods. We were a little rushed due to the restrictions for electricity but I would highly recommend this tour.

Fun, filling and informative food tour! - Myself and my partner had an amazing food tour with Magy. She’s a funny and vibrant tour guide and made us feel relaxed amidst the Egyptian hustle and bustle. We ate SO much and they were all delicious - she basically took us to all the places we’d like to visit and eat but perhaps would be too intimidated otherwise. It set us up perfectly for our holiday in Egypt knowing what the local food was on offer!

Very nice tour with Magy - This is a must do activity in Egypt. I had an awesome time in this food walk. Magy, our guide is an amazing person and she took us to explore the local busy Cairo streets during evening time that normally remains hidden from the foreigners’ eyes and got us to experience a lot of local authentic Egyptian cuisines. Foods were really delicious and a lot in quantity. Our conversations were also very intriguing and I got to learn a lot of new things. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to explore other aspects of Cairo life

Food tour - March 2026 - This is a truly unique and very local Cairo experience. Magy will show you the local Egyptian tradition in an area of Cairo where tourists usually do not find themselves. The tour is well thought through and Magy is very passionate about her work. The food was delicious and we genuinely enjoyed the entire experience! Bring an open mind and do not expect a glossed up experience, this is Cairo as seen by the Egyptians. Thank you Magy!

Unique food tour - We loved our tour with Magy. There were so many different types of food that we tried, which we wouldn’t have found by ourselves. She is so friendly and we had a really lovely evening in a lovely non-touristy part of Cairo.

Magy is a Cairo Treasure: Incredible Food & A True Life-Saver! - Our walking food tour was the highlight of Egypt, but it was Magy who turned a great day into an unforgettable one. She didn't just feed us; she welcomed us into the soul of Cairo. Every bite of koshary and street-side treat came with a story, making us feel like locals rather than just tourists. The true magic of Magy, however, is her kindness. When I realized I’d left my AirPods Pro case in a taxi, I thought they were gone forever. Magy immediately stepped in, used her local expertise to track down the driver, and didn't rest until they were back in my hands. Magy goes above and beyond in ways you can’t teach. She is a guardian angel with a great palate! If you want to fall in love with Cairo’s food and its people, Magy is the guide you need.

Unique Cairo food insights - We joined Mila for a memorable evening exploring the tastes and traditions of a Ramadan evening in Cairo. We went to neighbourhood areas full of energy and friendliness which we would never have experienced without Mila. 100% recommended if you're looking for something unique in Cairo. Go hungry!
