We had a wonderful time... - We had a wonderful time at our Matcha tea ceremony experience. Shinichi was very friendly and knowledgeable. We learned a lot about the history of tea and the different types of teas in addition to matcha. I would have also enjoyed more of the actual tea ceremony itself because it was only partially demonstrated. Other than that I highlyl recommend it to anyone interested in tea!

Great time learning about tea in Japan - Being in Japan, we wanted to learn about tea. This was very interactive and fun. One of the 4 teas we tried was Matcha, where we learned how to make it and the traditional ceremony. It was a small group, and everyone joined in the fun.

Wonderful Tea ceremony and didn’t have to sit on floor - Great experience. At this location you can sit on a chair which we needed. We learned so much and got to experience the ceremony and many types of teas.

Great experience even if you are a coffee drinker! - Really interesting tea ceremony and tasting with a tea master. We tried different teas and made macha. Located opposite Tokyo University, which we walked through on our way to Ueno Park afterwards. We tr

No thank you - The excursion was disappointing. We expected a traditional ceremony with an education about the traditions. Instead,, we were served tea while sitting at a table. . We brought white socks and were prepared to bow then sit on cushions. It was extremely difficult to understand the hostess.
