Worth the visit - Loved the immersive experience here! Though I do think the Irish wolfhounds were my adorable (if smelly) favorites and the goat kids out front were quite precious. Next time would love to do the banquet and explore more!

Bunratty Castle and Folk Par/Village1uaint relaxing period park and castle! - We were there in January during the off season. Bus from Limerick was only 6.70 euros round trip and entrance to the park and castle grounds was only 5 euros during our visit but undoubtedly off season pricing. Considered part of the Shannon Heritage featuring an authentic castle (magnificently restored 15th century and considered one of the best and most complete in Ireland) and Folk Park. Very relaxing and few crowds or tourists in January.- Spring and summer are probably packed and certainly more crowded. Spent about 2 to 3 hours here and enjoyed the experience!

Nice Second Castle/Folk Park Visit! - This was our second visit to Bunratty and it's still a great place. The folk park is really interesting and plenty of critters for the kids to see, while the "actors" in the homes, really share a passion for the place in time. The castle is really neat too, and even though it was busy, you can move through there pretty quickly. Highly recommend!

Beautiful! - Beautiful castle and grounds. Larger than expected, wish we'd allotted more time. The dinner banquet is also a great time.

A Jouney back in time. - An great day out for couples and families. You take a self guided tour of the folk park and caste and experience what life was like in rural Ireland in the past. Staff are all very helpful and friendly and we had a great chat with "The School Teacher" and "The Blacksmith" as well as the musician playing the Tin Whistle. Children witll love the animal pens and some of the activities organised during the day. Make sure to get the timetabl;e on the day you vsit so you dont miss out.

Great place to visit with lots of history to see - We really enjoyed our time here - so much to learn about the depth of history in Ireland. Amazing castle but the grounds are a sight to see also.

Brilliant place to visit - Brought my wife here last year during a trip to the area. The Castle was restored in 1954 and has been a must visit tourist attraction for visitor to Ireland. The folk village houses, school and pub give you the opportunity to see Irish life in medieval times. The pub is a real functional pub to enjoy a few drinks or an evening socialising

Review is only for folk park since Castle was closed due to an event - we reached there late. Only by around 4:30 PM. The castle was closed off for a banquet that night so we could go into the castle. They told us the the folk park was closing in 50 min and they gave us discounted tickets (half off) - we had kids and they wanted to check it out. Its actually a whole lot of fun, Farm animals, an irish way of life from the olden days, hand made pottery and jewelers, an old school replica with musicians, a fairy trail, churches, and an awesome playground for kids. we used up the entire 50 mins - they also have a lovely gift shops with some great deals on perfumes which we bought for friends and family. Would have definitely stayed longer if we had the time.

Be Careful! - Be careful! I booked the medieval dinner with my family for June 29th, and four days before, the company sent me an email canceling the dinner time, offering an earlier option. Since I was passing through the city, we couldn't make it at the suggested time, so I requested a refund from the company. They always responded promptly, but to this day (three weeks later), I still haven't received my money back. They always have an excuse for not refunding me. I'm disappointed with the company. I don't think they're serious.
