- Koza Hani - Bursa’s centuries-old commercial center, the Old Silk Market (Koza Han), was built in 1492 by order of Bayezıt II to generate income for the mosques and madrasahs of Istanbul. As the first stop for tourists in Bursa, Koza Han is a world-renowned masterpiece. It consists of 95 rooms on two floors surrounding a rectangular courtyard. The upper floor of Koza Han features cafes and shops selling silk products. Stone staircases on both sides of the entrance lead to the upper floor. The portico’s arches are brick and dome-shaped, comprising 40 concrete domes. The rooms are vaulted, each with two windows facing outside. All upper-floor rooms are used as silk and silk product shops. A separate mosque is located in the middle of the courtyard, similar to some Seljuk caravanserais.
- Green Mosque - The Green Mosque (Yeşil Camii): This stunning mosque is one of Bursa’s symbols, named after the green tiles that adorn its interior. The mosque is part of a historical complex that includes a Quranic school and baths.
The Green Mausoleum (Yeşil Türbe): Located next to the Green Mosque, this mausoleum was built in honor of Sultan Mehmet I and is famous for its turquoise ceramic decorations.
- Tombs of Osman and Orhan - The Mausoleum of Orhan Gazi: Orhan Gazi was the second Ottoman sultan and the son of Osman Gazi, the founder of the Ottoman Empire. The mausoleum was built in honor of Orhan Gazi, who passed away in 1362. It exemplifies Ottoman funerary architecture and is known for its simple and elegant design.
Mausoleum of Osman Gazi: This is the mausoleum of Osman Gazi, the founder of the Ottoman Empire, located in Tophane. Osman Gazi is regarded as the founding father of the Ottoman dynasty, and his mausoleum is a significant historical site for Turkey’s history.
