Day 1 – Arrival in Bujumbura & Exploration of Bujumbura City.

Bujumbura Mairie Province - Upon arriving at Melchior Ndadaye International Airport, guests will be warmly greeted by our knowledgeable tour guide and transported to Hotel Club du Lac Tanganyika, a stunning lakeside hotel situated on the shores of Lake Tanganyika. If time permits (depending on the arrival schedule), guests will embark on a brief city tour of Bujumbura to explore some of the city’s historical monuments and landmarks while gaining insights into the culture and daily life of Burundi.

Day 2 – Community/Nature & Culture.

Gishora Drum Sanctuary - Visit the renowned Gishora Royal Drums Sanctuary in Gitega Province. Recognized by UNESCO as an intangible cultural heritage, Gishora offers the most authentic drum experience available. This significant cultural site preserves the legendary Royal Drums of Burundi, and visitors can enjoy an impressive traditional drumming performance while learning about the history of the palace.

Day 3 – Rusizi River Boat Cruise & Departure
