• UN Memorial Cemetery - The UN Memorial Cemetery in Korea pays tribute to UN soldiers from 16 countries and UN aides from five countries who lost their lives during the Korean War from 1950-1953. This tranquil park spans a grassy area of 135,000 square meters. Notable sites and memorials include: Memorial Service Hall, Memorabilia Hall, two Turkish Monuments, Greek Monument, Australian Monument, British Commonwealth Monument, and two ponds. The Memorial Service Hall and the Memorabilia Hall were built in 1964 and 1968, respectively. The Main Gate was dedicated by the citizens of Busan in 1966. Numerous annual events are hosted here, such as April’s Tributary Ceremony for Korean War Veterans, May’s American Memorial Day, June’s Korean Memorial Day, and October’s UN Ceremony Day.

• Busan Gamcheon Culture Village - This is a historically rich mountainside cultural area. It was initially settled by refugees during the Korean War. Visitors will find small hillside homes and a charming collection of creative decorative pieces installed by art students. After exploring Gamcheon Culture Village, lunch will be served at a local restaurant, guided by the tour guide.

• Gukje Market - A vibrant, expansive marketplace featuring vendors selling street food, home goods, and souvenirs.

• Jagalchi Market - As one of South Korea’s largest seaports, Busan is renowned for its exceptional seafood. Jagalchi Market is the most famous seafood market in Korea. Visitors can witness sellers vocally advertising their deals and engage in bargaining. Seafood options include squid, octopus, crab, mussels, and prawns.

The 428-meter-long street, stretching from the Buyeong Theater in Nampo-dong to the overpass in Chungmu-dong, is divided into “Star Street” and “Festival Street.” On the eve of the festival each year, the “Ground Opening of BIFF Square” takes place on the street.

During the ceremony, events such as the hand printing of famous movie celebrities and Nunggot Jeomdeung (snow-flower lighting) occur.
