The distance from Kathmandu to Lumbini is approximately 330 km, taking around 11 to 12 hours to travel. Lumbini, the birthplace of Gautam Buddha, attracts thousands of visitors annually. The bus departs from Gongobu Bus Park in Kathmandu, which is a 10-minute drive from Thamel, and stops at Lumbini Gate No. 5, close to Lumbini Garden where hotels are easily accessible.

The route for the Kathmandu to Lumbini tourist bus includes Gongobu Bus Park – Balaju – Kalanki – Malakhu – Mugling – Narayanghat – Nawalparasi – Butwal – Bhairawa – Lumbini.

The bus departs Gongobu Bus Park at 7:00 AM. Please check in by 6:30 AM.
