Best Boat Tour Ever - Amazing boat tour, the guide was professional, courteous and friendly. He spoke of the history of the area. A stop in Santa Luzia for a great lunch. I highly recommend the Passeios Ria Formosa.

Excellent 1 hour boat ride from Cabanas de Tavira - Spectacular visit, from the deal with the girl from the stall who treated us amazing (sorry, I don't know the name) to her partner Antonio who took us by boat and explained the marshes and their characteristics of fauna and flora. We thought it was a must, don't miss it!

Lovely way to spend a few hours! - We booked the 4hr boat trip from Cabanas de Tavira starting at 11am (Octopus Route). The skipper, Phillip, was excellent, really informative, genuinely interesting with a great sense of humour! He gave us lots of interesting facts along the way.... some delivered with a cheeky hint of sarcasm 😆 We had a nice stop in Santa Luzia before moving on to the island and he got us as close to the flamingos as possible before returning to Cabanas. Thanks Phillip for a lovely trip!

An Enjoyable Experience - It was an amazing experience. The crew was very knowledgeable about the area, pointing out a mixture of history of the area and other areas as well and the beautiful beaches. Lunch in Santa Luzia at the Octopus Restaurant was delicious. The whole experience was amazing and the service was premier. I highly recommend Passeios Ria Formosa boat tours.

Relaxing trip through nature with pleasant poses - Nice trip through the lagoons with boat. Take a break at the beach and have lunch in real fishing village. Relaxing and enjoying nature, fishing village and beach

Flamingo Spotting from Tavira - Although we enjoyed sailing along the river from Tavira to Cabanas we only saw flamingos in one part of the journey as the boat was lower than the levees. We saw more flamingos on the Tavira road train and the walk we took to look at them. We were told binoculars would be provided, they weren't, just as well we took our own.

Bad experience - Not seen a dolphin, when the Skyper wasn't even looking for them. Didn't say a word all excursion, just at the end, bad day, goodbye

Disappointing and Not Worth the Price - We paid 35 euros each — so 140 euros for 4 people. The tour started late. First, we sailed toward Santa Luzia for a 1-hour and 40-minute stop, then headed to the beach on Tavira Island for a 40-minute break, and finally returned to the starting point. That’s it! 35 euros for 3 boat rides that were basically like water taxis. You’d be better off taking a Bolt! It was just a series of taxi rides — only on water. A big, big regret!
