Great experience - Eli was a great tour guide. He had his work cut out for him because several young men where irresponsible, ie smoking on trip, playing music acting like idiots. Eli had to constantly reprimand them which wasn't his fault.

Fun times - Fun time checking out the bioluminescence while doing a nighttime kayak ride. Guides Javier, Amaury, and Eli gave clear instructions and kept us safe, and host Natalia was welcoming. Instructions were clear. Good place that was open after the tour had tasty options. Recommended.

A fun adventure - Had fun rowing through the mangroves and seeing the tiny critters that sparkle like fireflies! Guides were knowledgeable and took good care of us. A very enjoyable experience!

Eli was super... - Eli was super knowledgeable and answered all of the questions we had. It was super freaking dark and we ran into a lot of trees but it's fine because the guides are there to save you! We wish the sargassum didn't kill a lot of the bioluminescent population but we still got to see some. They did warn us beforehand of the low glow, offered a discount or refund, but we still wanted to partake and had a good time. They also offered snacks and water afterwards!

PR is something else! - Bring water shoes, extra clothes, towel. They do have a bathroom where you can change. Most of all bring a smile and immense yourself with the beauty. The guides were amazing, Javier is full of knowledge and will make you laugh.

Honest tour company - The company reached out to let me know the chances of seeing the Bioluminescense was very low the day we had planned. They gave me an option for a discount on the tour, or to cancel for a full refund. I did cancel, but can say I was pleasantly supposed that they were so honest about it and gave me that option. I really appreciate it.

Bio Bay Experience - Natalia, Javier, Eli, Gustavo, and Amaury made my experience expectacular. I learned a lot, had a great laughter, and enjoyed the excursion. 20/10 I will definitely recommend it and come back!

Great Time! Low Visibility - Sadly the Bioluminescence was minimal in quantity but there was still something! I appreciated the company being communicative and transparent- going so far as to text the morning of and let us know that a prior tour was low visibility and offered either a discount or free cancellation. We went anyway and still enjoyed our time. What bumped our experience up was one of our tour guides; Javiel? I believe his name was. He was amazing! My partner and cousin enjoyed joking around with him the most. If you’re reading this Javiel, “you one hammah!” We hope to try again one year and hopefully see better- brighter results :)

Be prepared to hit kayaks in the pitch black of night. - The bioluminescence was very cool to see, however the experience of kayaking out to see it left a lot to be desired. If you do not know how to pilot a kayak and are expecting to get any help or guidance from the guides other than “paddle left to go right and right to go left” then you’re going to have a very unpleasant experience. The guides also did not seem to care to warn us that a group of kayaks were coming towards us in the pitch Black Forest and instead of shining a light for us to see, just chastised us and told us to watch where we’re going. Bioluminescence great, this kayak guide company not so much.
