As a marine biologist with a penchant for adventure, the allure of a bioluminescent bay was irresistible. The Bio Bay Kayak Tour promised an encounter with supernatural phenomena, and I was eager to witness this natural wonder firsthand. Arriving in Fajardo, the anticipation was palpable as I joined a group of fellow explorers, all equally excited to embark on this unique journey.

The tour began with a gentle paddle through the mangrove-lined canal.
