During the journey to Mt St-Michel (or on the return trip, depending on the weather), the beauty of the Emerald Coast will be showcased, along with fascinating tales of the Mont, its hidden secrets, and intriguing stories.
By approximately 10 AM, arrival at the destination is expected, and the tour will commence. The exploration will include visits to the Abbey, the Church, and the Monastery.
Participants will gain insights into the pilgrims and the rich history of France over the centuries.
Following a comprehensive tour of the Mont, enjoy the renowned omelette of Mere Poulard.
After visiting Mont St Michel, the operator will drive to Avranches to view ancient manuscripts crafted by monks from the Medieval Times to the French Revolution. Additionally, the relic of Aubert, the Mont’s founder from 1300 years ago, will be presented.
Next, a visit to Villedieu Les Poeles will reveal the unique factory where church bells are crafted, preserving this medieval tradition.
Return is scheduled for 6-7 PM.
