Definitely worth doing this tour - Our guide, Sabina, was very knowledgeable on our tour of the castello area of Cagliari. She colourfully described the history and urban myths. And seamlessly moved from Italian to English. Definitely worth taking a tour to hear the details rather than relying just on the internet.

Discover Cagliari in a few hours - We discovered Cagliari together with Federica. It was a perfect visit! Excellent guide, it was possible in two hours and in two languages (Spanish and Italian) to tell the history, traditions and details of Sardinia. As well as visiting the historic center Cagliari! Beautiful views, narrow streets full of vases with flowers, cozy squares, and always smiling Federica. Thank you!

Raffaela Carrus of ARASOLÈ is a great guide - I was part of a group with 3 others and we had an excellent 2 hour plus guided tour of the Castello district with Raffaela Carrus of ARASOLÈ. She was excellent, a lady of great culture and knowledge. She has great Sardinian pride but also know how to connect the dots and provide exceptional intercultural experiences. I must say that my visit to Cagliari was enriched by thai visit and when i am back i will look forward to doing other tours with her. She was also not in a rush and made the climb all the more enjoyable. Thank yo.

Interesting and friendly guided city tour in a small group - We had a very nice, entertaining and individual tour with our guide Sabina. She was very attuned to the group and answered all the questions. The group of 8 people was not as big as other groups in the city and we got to know many great places in Cagliari.

Relaxed and informative tour - Rafaela is an extremely accommodating and informative guide. She carefully explained the history of the Castello area and answered our many questions about other aspects of life in Sardinia. We were very lucky to have a private tour and we enjoyed her company and sense of humour. As a Greek, Latin and Italian scholar she is well equipped for this role. We wish we had met her before we booked our other trips.

Meggy was wonderful.. the tasting of food and wine was a great feature. We bad an enjoyable day. Would recommend the tour to oth - The tour was great and our guide very knowledgeable. Because it was in English and Italian, I feel we were given less information so the tour would be timely.

Very enjoyable and informative but would have liked to have gone into the Cathedral - We took the evening walking tour (because the earlier one was not available on the day we needed). We waited at the right spot, in front of the little café (Cagliari 1920), but didn’t see the guide. Finally, at the tour start time, I got a call on my phone asking if we were still coming, to which I replied we are already here. As I circled around while talking on my phone I saw a lady also talking on her phone and looking around and I realized that she is the guide. It would have been helpful to have some distinguishing shirt or umbrella, etc. I had been looking for a crowd of people, but it was only the guide and two other visitors. Luckily, she had called me. Note: Facing the café, the guide was waiting over to the far right and not in front of the café as the instructions indicated. The guide was great, very friendly and very informative. She made the tour very enjoyable. The main disappointment is that the agenda states that time will be available to look in Cattedrale Di Santa Cecilia (30 minutes). I was mostly looking forward to this visit. (Thankfully I had gone the day before, but it was just a quick run through since I had expected to be going back on this tour.) But unfortunately, when we reached the Cathedral, a Mass had started, and the guide said we were not allowed in. I would have thought the tour company would know when the Masses are and perhaps move us along a little faster (from Bastion Saint Remy) to get there in time. Either that, or the agenda should state that visiting inside the Cathedral is not possible during the evening tours. But that aside, the tour was still great, and I would recommend it. It is always nice to hear the history and background story of what you are looking at.
