The coastline of Southern Sardinia is renowned as one of the Mediterranean’s most stunning, particularly at Chia, where untouched shores blend history, geology, and natural splendor.

The day starts with a journey across the Santa Gilla lagoon, a habitat for wild pink flamingos. As you travel through the hills and scrublands of the Sulcis region towards the coast, your guide will explain the area’s ecology.

The first destination is Su Giudeu, a highly acclaimed beach in Sardinia, where granite formations surround soft, powdery sand and some of the island’s clearest waters. You will have 1.5 hours to swim, stroll along the shore, or simply unwind.

A brief drive leads to a second beach with a distinct character. A gentle uphill walk offers coastal views and a Spanish watchtower that once protected this shoreline. The beach below is more rugged, featuring coarser sand and a natural river flowing into the sea. You will have another 1.5 hours to explore at your leisure.
