Excellent, well organised, and exciting! - Wow! What an amazing trip! Communication was great beforehand, so we were clear where to go and what we needed to bring. The organisation was great and at all times safety came first. The boat was spacious enough to be able to move around as needed, with toilets and showers on board. Morning and afternoon snacks were provided, along with a delicious buffet lunch. The snorkelling was well organised and again, safety was paramount. There were two different snorkelling stops offering different areas of the reef to enjoy. There was an underwater photographer taking photos which were available to purchase at reasonable prices. Underwater cameras were available to hire. A hug shout out to Gwen - she supported me throughout both snorkelling stops as she knew I was feeling nervous. Gwen patiently explained what we could see in the water annd about the different corals. Gwen gave me tips to make the experience enjoyable, despite my anxieties. A real star! This is definitely a trip you won’t want to miss - excellent value for money and a real once in a lifetime experience.

An Unforgettable Dive Journey with Laura at Divers Den 🌊 - I started at Divers Den doing the 4-day Open Water course, but I enjoyed it so much I decided to stay an extra night on the liveaboard and complete the Adventure Dive course which turned out to be one of the absolute highlights of my trip. One of the coolest moments was the night dive, floating in the dark with just our torches, watching the reef come alive in a completely different way. Learning to scuba dive with Laura was an incredible experience. From day one, she made our group feel completely at ease. Her calm, friendly presence set the tone for a journey that was not only educational but genuinely fun. She is an exceptional instructor and has a real gift for making everyone feel comfortable, even when we were nervous or struggling with new skills. Her patience, encouragement, and ability to celebrate small wins helped us build confidence with every dive. There were three of us in the group, and by the end of the course, we felt like a little dive family. I truly believe that closeness was thanks to Laura’s supportive energy and the way she brought us together through shared challenges and successes. Also a huge thank you to the rest of the crew at Divers Den. They were incredibly hospitable and friendly, and learning our names so quickly was such a thoughtful touch that made us feel truly welcome. The food onboard was also great, fresh, tasty, and perfect after a long day of diving. And if you’re someone who struggles with seasickness but wants to learn scuba diving, I’d definitely recommend staying on the liveaboard. It’s much more stable and makes the whole experience far more comfortable. If you're considering diving in Cairns, I can't recommend Laura highly enough. She doesn’t just teach you how to dive, she creates an experience you’ll carry with you long after you surface.

Bucket List - I got to tick an item off my bucket list by doing this. They take you on a boat ride then you get off the boat to snorkel. You can dive or do certified diving provided your qualified. I then snorkeled around and saw The Great Barrier Reef. Some of the corals looked like brains, some of them looked like intestines, some of them looked like spikes, some of them looked like paper thin crackers. There were some that were a long way below me and some that I could get up close and personal. You have a professional photographer with a special camera designed to take photos of you snorkeling and the reef that they can send to you so you can print them and keep them enlarged in your frame on the wall which I really liked. They serve muffins at the beginning and they serve us lunch which I also really liked.

Beautiful experience, we saw sharks and turtles - What a way to discover the Great Barrier Reef! The boat wasn't too big so when we went on the water it didn't feel crowded at all. I had booked a discovery dive and the instructors were excellent, they were patient and welcoming. I didn't get the names of all the instructors which I regret, but merci to everyone ! The rest of the time we were snorkelling and discovering the reef. We had a brilliant time! When booking - be sure that you have a look at how many dives you have planned, I unfortunately just booked one and that wasn't nearly long enough! Definitely book for 2, it's worth it. The snorkeling was still brilliant though!

Great vessel - Unfortunately the reef isn’t in the best shape anymore so wasn’t the beautiful vibrant views that were expected but none the less still a gorgeous place to see. Staff were phenomenal from the energy to being ontop of all things customer related was a great experience.

Good experience on Tusa - Great staff, good equipment, nice food. All in all a good day out, despite choppy conditions. We went on the Tusa boat, and did an all day snorkeling package.

Anyway, all tourists go to the same place... - Anyway , I think all tourists go to the same place , but there are only two places in the spring . Garden and Bob!! The garden was like 80 people and we were 46 people, so the seats were spacious and nice. I booked the day before and I chose it because there were few options. There was also a Korean staff who was very friendly and very helpful. The weather was cloudy but fine. Depending on the weather where you can snow-cool, it makes no sense to say that the second snow-cooling place is better than the first. Malaria is sold on the boat and you can apply for additional diving! The website has only 1 Introductory Dive, and you can apply for a second one on site! Bob is Nebad!! It was enough. The conclusion was swiftly prepared and so well chosen!!

Money hungry; SHORT dives; DONT GO - I paid for 3 dives and the first two dives were not only in the same location, but they told me i took too long on the first dive (when it was only ~45 mins). Then they told me the second dive needs to be 25 mins!! That is half a dive!! Even though I paid for three full dives. If you want a guide they will pair you with first time divers, or you go on your own. Very money hungry and not focused on experience. One of the worst dive experiences and such a shame at the GBR. BOOK SOMEWHERE ELSE.
