• Silverswift Dive & Snorkel - Begin your adventure by checking in and collecting your boarding pass at the Reef Fleet Terminal. Board the Silverswift at the Cairns Marlin Wharf between 8:00 - 8:30 am. This state-of-the-art 29-meter catamaran will serve as your base for the day. Throughout the day, you’ll explore three distinct locations, potentially including Thetford, Milln, and Flynn Reef. Each stop highlights a unique aspect of the stunning Great Barrier Reef. At each site, you can choose to snorkel, dive, or enjoy a combination of both.

It is recommended to book this reef trip on your first full available day. This allows flexibility to adjust your travel date if needed. • Great Barrier Reef - Enjoy 5 hours of snorkeling or diving time at three reef sites off Cairns - Flynn, Milln, and Thetford reefs, renowned for their rich marine life. These sites offer excellent wall dives, swim-throughs, and overhangs, perfect for both novice and experienced divers. Expect to see a variety of fish species, hard corals such as staghorn, table, plate, and boulder coral, as well as numerous species of soft corals.
• Great Barrier Reef - If you are new to scuba diving, you can opt for one or two introductory dives, or you may prefer to stick to snorkeling and explore all three sites from the surface. A crew member will guide those interested on a snorkel tour at one of the reef locations. Certified divers can participate in up to three certified dives. Whatever your choice, your Outer Great Barrier Reef Dive and Snorkel Cruise includes up to five hours in the water.

The friendly crew is available to answer any questions throughout the day. The boat is equipped with full bar facilities, fresh water showers, and spacious sun-decks overlooking the Coral Sea. A tropical buffet lunch will be served between sites, along with morning and afternoon tea.

• After a single scuba dive a wait of 12 hours is recommended before ascending to an altitude of 300 metres or greater. If doing multiple dives an interval of 24 hours is suggested.
• Ceritified Diving: Certified divers must possess an internationally recognised SCUBA certificate card.
• Please confirm your booking at least 24 hours prior to travel.
• During scheduled maintenance, Silverswift services may be operated by a different vessel than the one shown on this site.
• All participants will be required to complete a health questionnaire onboard prior to diving. Some pre-existing medical conditions (eg asthma, heart conditions, etc) may prevent you from diving, please consult your doctor.
