Had a great time at green... - Had a great time at green island. Saw some reviews that we're negative so was a bit concerned but honestly I think those people expect too much for a $150 day trip! I thought the pricing for food on the island was reasonable and wait times werent too bad.

Great views of the reef - The glass-bottom boat and snorkelling were amazing. We managed to see lots of fish and coral, and even for up-close to a sting ray. There isn’t much else to do on the island, but it’s a great place to snorkel from if you don’t want to be stuck on a boat. Would recommend snorkelling under and around the jetty.

Snorkeling paradise in the Great Barrier Reef - Snorkeling equipment is provided completely and is in the process of being preosi. Of course, you can also bring your own equipment. It is advisable to borrow a full body suit (not neoprene) in addition (strong sunlight - risk of sunburn). This is then calculated separately.

Green Island snorkelling is amazing. - Green Island was beautiful and the snorkelling was outstanding. So close to turtles. The beach to sit and relax was also lovely. Getting the snorkelling gear was ok - a longish line if you are not quick off the boat. The food options were a let down. Chicken burger was burnt black and inedible. Took it back and replacement was cold! I would recommend packing your own picnic lunch and food.

Relaxing tropical island retreat for a day - The ferry ride was ~40 minutes from Cairns Reef Terminal. Upon boarding, a staff member met with me to walk me through my activities of the day. Snorkeling was fine. The waves were a bit choppy on my day. The beaches are beautiful, and the restaurants on-site are good.

Good but would have been better at a different time of year (went in June). Not the best deal I have encountered. - Probably isn’t the best time of year to go (went in June), but had a decent time. The staff on the boat were all amazing, but I might not be so quick to recommend excursions from the dive shop at this time of year.

Disappointing reef tour - You’re pretty much on your own. You’re dropped off on the island which says it has a resort but actually there is just a small swimming pool, maybe 2 food shacks and a small dive shop where you pick up your snorkeling gear. It was extremely windy so the water was not clear and everyone we talked to that went snorkeling saw nothing so we decided to not do that. Of course the tour company had no control over the weather… we knew that. Considering the weather though, was there some less windy place we could have been taken to be able to see the reef?? Or maybe a longer glass bottom boat tour?? We just didn’t feel that we really got to see the reef which was the whole reason we booked the tour

Great place if you just want to relax - It was not a bad activity, but I wish I would’ve used the one more day I had on something else. I would recommend going on a boat and snorkeling instead of being on this island. The short boat ride to a reef to go snorkeling was worth it, but it was extra. I went to go see the crocodiles to burn up time that was extra….It is a lot of time to spend there with limited activities to do. However, the staff were extremely friendly and outgoing.
