Excellent - Me and my girlfriend came up to Cairns from Sydney and decided to go on Billy Tea Safaris tour of the Daintree/Cape Tribulation. The tour was enjoyable, and we saw many animals and plants. James the guide was incredibly friendly and informative throughout the whole journey. We were grateful that we had such a great guide and will definitely book with James as our guide again the next time we come back.

Must do while in Cairns! - Great Tour, highly recommend. Tour was running late for morning pickup but communication with operator was timely and helpful. Rowan, our tour guide was great! He was extremely knowledgeable and provided such great detail all along the way.

Good guide n good lunch - Our guide Graeme was an experienced guide and knows lots of stuff about the fauna and flora of the area.
His sense of humour also helps in the long journey. My trip includes lunch and the quality of lunch was also very good.

All around my favorite tour! - This is the only day trip I’ve ever done, where I’d love to repeat it again the very next day! The rainforest is incredible and this tour does not have too much driving. We saw all kinds of animals— wallaby, cassowary, huge bats, etc. Our guide, G, was AMAZING. He found insects for us to see and was super knowledgeable about the rainforest while being very entertaining. Highly recommend this!

Great, informative, good value tour of the Daintree - Great tour. Our tour operator, Graham was informative, personable and loved a joke. The small group was good. Would recommend to anyone wanting to travel up to the Daintree.

Full day of fun for all ages - The tour offered a full experience of what the Daintree region has to offer, from the boat tour to see crocodiles to a pleasant walk through the forest and fresh water creeks.
The tour is suitable for all ages, really inclusive and enjoyable. The walking is minimal and at a pace where everyone can keep up, and the swimming at the freshwater creek is optional. The lunch was very nice too!
The travelling time is generally quite long between stops, so you do spend alot of time on the bus. If you're someone who wants more walking and a more active experience, this might not be your cup of tea.

Great trip, harsh ride. - Overall a good trip, it's well thought out and very informative.
Our guide Ro was excellent, like having a fun private Wikipedia delivering knowledge all day.
The drive is long but we were travelling from Cairns, so that was to be expected.
Our only negative, as mentioned in some other reviews was the suspension or rather lack of it at the back of the van. On some bumps the whole back row were lifted out of their seats.
It was a very uncomfortable ride!
Those seated in the front/middle seats seemed to be ok.

Nice, but I wouldn’t do it again - It was a nice trip. Our tour guide Kel was really friendly and informative.
However it was expensive for what it was (understand that getting to the Daintree takes a while, and it was actually one of the cheaper tours out there).
Lots of families/older people so if you’re a young solo traveller looking to meet new people, probably not the best tour (perhaps other tours w this company would be different, and you might find more young people, but not this one).
We saw two crocodiles in the wild and a baby, and had a short walk around in the forest whilst Kel talked abt the area.
Highlight of the trip was having a swim in the creek in between lunch, but it was so rushed that no one else swam (I believe this depends on timing on when you get to the lunch areas)
The trip was nice, but not enthralling, social, or particularly adventurous.
I believe most other people had a great time, so definitely would recommend for people who enjoy a chill walk around a forest with some guiding, but I personally wouldn’t go again.
