Arrival in Cairo

Cairo Citadel - Welcome to Cairo, Egypt (Around The Clock). Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, the tour manager will greet and assist with arrival procedures, then accompany you to the hotel in a private, air-conditioned deluxe vehicle. At the hotel, the tour manager will facilitate a smooth check-in and review your holiday itinerary to confirm pick-up times for each tour. Overnight stay in Cairo.

Pyramids / Sakkara

Giza Necropolis - After breakfast, your personal guide will take you to the Giza Plateau to explore the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chefren, and Mykerinus, as well as the famous Sphinx and Valley Temple. An additional visit to the Solar Boat in front of the Cheops Pyramid is available (extra ticket required). Lunch will be served at a quality restaurant, followed by a visit to the Sakkara area to see the Sakkara Complex and the first pyramid ever built, the Djoser Pyramid. Continue to Memphis, the capital of the Old Kingdom and renowned Necropolis. Overnight in Cairo.

Cairo Sightseeing / Train to Aswan

The Museum of Egyptian Antiquities - After breakfast and check-out at your Cairo hotel, your private guide will escort you to the Egyptian Museum, including the Treasures room of the child king Tutankhamen and many other fascinating artifacts. An additional visit to the mummies room is available (extra ticket required). Lunch will be provided at a local restaurant.

Cairo Citadel - Next, visit the Saladin Citadel, including the Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque.

Coptic Cairo - Continue to Coptic Cairo to visit the Hanging Church and Ben Ezra Synagogue. Proceed to Islamic Cairo to explore Khan El Khalili, Cairo’s historic bazaar. Later, transfer to Ramsis railway station to board the sleeper train to Aswan. Dinner and breakfast will be served on board, with an overnight stay in your compartment.

Arrival in Aswan

Temple of Philae - Upon arrival at Aswan station, you will be transferred to your hotel, then to your Nile River Cruise before lunch. Enjoy visits to the world-famous High Dam and the impressive Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddesses Isis and Hathor.

Unfinished Obelisk - Visit the largest known ancient obelisk, located in the northern region of the ancient Egyptian stone quarries, the Unfinished Obelisk. Dinner on board and overnight in Aswan.

Kom Ombo / Edfu

Temple of Kom Ombo - Sail to Kom Ombo, enjoy breakfast on board, and visit the Temple shared by the gods Sobek and Haeroris.

Temple of Horus - Sail to Edfu, have lunch on board, and visit the best-preserved cult temple in Egypt, the Horus Temple in Edfu. Enjoy afternoon tea while sailing to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.

Abu Simbel Temple Complex - An optional tour (not included) to one of Egypt’s top attractions, the Abu Simbel temples, originally carved out of the mountainside during Pharaoh Ramesses II’s reign.

Luxor West Bank

Valley of the Kings - Sail to Luxor, have breakfast on board, then visit the West Bank. Take an excursion to the royal cemetery for 62 Pharaohs, the Valley of the Kings, and the mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, built by New Kingdom Pharaoh Hatshepsut’s architects around the 15th century BC at El-Deir El-Bahari, and the Colossi of Memnon. Lunch on board. Enjoy afternoon tea while sailing. Dinner on board and overnight in Luxor.

Luxor East Bank / Hurghada

Temple of Karnak - After breakfast on board, disembark from your Nile cruise. Then, visit the Karnak and Luxor temples. In the afternoon, transfer to Hurghada on the Red Sea. The drive from Luxor to Hurghada takes about 3.5 hours. Overnight in Hurghada.

Hurghada Vacation

Hurghada Marina - Optional tours are available to experience diving and snorkeling among the Red Sea coral reefs and see some amazing rare fish. Alternatively, choose from activities such as windsurfing, sailing, and deep-sea fishing. Overnight in Hurghada.

Return to Cairo

Hurghada Long Beach Resort - Enjoy breakfast at your hotel in Hurghada with leisure time, then transfer to the bus station to take a first-class coach to Cairo (approximately a 6-hour drive). Upon arrival in Cairo, you will be met and assisted, then transferred to your hotel for leisure time and an overnight stay in Cairo.

Final Departure

Cairo International Airport - Enjoy breakfast at the hotel in Cairo, with free time before your flight. Check out and transfer to Cairo International Airport for your final departure.
