We highly recommend the agency Triad for organization and care throughout the stay. This trip was exceptional thanks in part to our Egyptologist guide Ahmed, an incredible man, an encyclopedia in itself that transmitted to us his passion for love and the history of his country. He transported us with his captivating accounts of ancient and contemporary Egypt. We discussed a lot of topics with him. The Egyptians are incredibly kind and ready to do anything to make your stay wonderful. The pace of visits is strong but really worth it. No bad surprise, Ahmed has always offered us the best excursions, some optional but never mandatory. He took us to unusual places. Thank you so much Ahmed for making our trip even more wonderful! The cruise was as we dreamed it, excellent food, unparalleled friendliness always with little care. The hotel Le Passage also very well. This country is poor but the Egyptians give you everything. Great experience with Hala guide - After the Nile cruise we took a day tour to Cairo to the pyramids of Giza and Saqqara. I wanted to thank Hala, she was an exceptional guide, good at explanations and for sympathy. She never spared herself in answering all the questions.

Tour of the Pyramids in Cairo - During our week in Egypt, in our stay in Cairo after the beautiful cruise experience, we had a tour of the pyramids of Giza and Saqqara. Unfortunately the experience was not entirely pleasant because of the guide Angela, because under the pretext of visiting 3 shops initially sold as museums, just to make us buy something (papyrus museum, silver museum and cotton museum that was nothing but a clothing store) made us have lunch at 5 pm because otherwise we would not have had time to visit the sites of Memphi and Saqqara. I think this is unacceptable because in addition to keeping us for most of the time of the visit with hunger and little energy, it totally diverted attention from explaining beautiful sites. That is a pity indeed. On the contrary, during the cruise, we were lucky enough to have Sameh as a guide: a very prepared and professional guide as well as a kind and helpful person

To be avoided - Purchase through VoyagePrive, 2 days Cairo plus 4 days cruise from Luxor to Aswan. We lost almost two hours at the airport because no one showed up to pick us up (they said they had bad time), all this at 5.00 am, time to leave things in the room and we left for the first tur to the pyramids. The guide Hanna explained in a very bad Italian but with good will both the pyramids and the whole day. We took a camel ride for the photo of 25 meters aprox. Where several dons were pressed by the owners of the camels to ask for money to get them off the camel, all in front of the guide. Same day we did Saqara, and then market (totally not recommended). During the trip in the Nile, there were two guides, one who spoke a little better Italian and and explained well, and another who did not understand anything. Considerations on Triad Travel: * They try to put you all the excursions for a fee at all costs, even at the cost of taking time away from those who decide not to do them, to make sure to arrive with time. * Guides must take you (after a visit) to some shop where they march. This wouldn't be bad if it wasn't because so many times there are scams in between (essence store where they make you taste the pure one and sell you the diluted one, but how is it 8 pm after 12 hours of being around hard to welcome) * There is no chronogram, everything is informed at the last moment. * Accommodation in Cairo was good and comfortable. * The cruise was bad, just bad. The worst of the ships in the ports. Dirty, dated, to avoid.

Beautiful country but total disorganization!!! - My son and I were very happy with the excursions to giza and saqqara especially for the information given to us by the Hala guide. We were not satisfied with the organization of the excursions during the Nile cruise (some skipped excursions and some hasty .. unclear organizational information, authoritarian decisions by the guide, little opportunity for dialogue). Also very serious the fact that they forgot to make our tickets for the aswan-Cairo flight ... my son and I were left for only 5 hours without a ticket and without clear information for the return to Cairo and without suitcases, while the rest of the group boarded the plane (suitcases mistakenly boarded another flight, we had the luggage of our fellow travelers , a disaster!!!) . Ultimately we were at the airport from 12 to 17.40 and arrived in Cairo at 21.00 (where no one would have come to pick us up if we had not been contacted several times by our travel companions, already in Cairo). Tips: send participants tickets for internal flights before leaving to avoid serious forgetting, greater communication between the agency, guides and companions, a few more companions who speak Italian and greater organization and consistency regarding the travel program.
