Full Day Tour: The Great Pyramids, Memphis, and Saqqara

Pyramids of Giza - After breakfast, our tour guide will pick you up from your hotel at 8:00 AM to begin your full-day tour. Start by visiting the Great Pyramids of Giza, the oldest and largest pyramids in the Giza complex, located near modern-day Giza in Greater Cairo, Egypt. It is the oldest of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.

Great Sphinx - Next, visit The Great Sphinx of Giza, a limestone statue of a reclining sphinx, a mythical creature. It faces directly from West to East and stands on the Giza Plateau.

Memphis and Saqqara - Continue the tour by visiting Memphis, also known as Menefer, the ancient capital of Inebu-hedj, the first nome of Lower Egypt, known as mḥw. Its ruins are near the modern town of Mit Rahina, 20 km south of Giza in Greater Cairo, Egypt.

Conclude the tour by visiting The Pyramid of Djoser, or Step Pyramid, located in the Saqqara necropolis, Egypt, northwest of the city of Memphis. This 6-tier, 4-sided structure is the earliest colossal stone building in Egypt, built in the 27th century BC during the Third Dynasty for Pharaoh Djoser’s burial.

After the tour, return to your hotel. Overnight in Cairo.

Full Day Tour: Egyptian Museum, Cairo Citadel, and Bazaar

The Museum of Egyptian Antiquities - After breakfast, our tour guide will pick you up at 8:00 AM to start your full-day tour by visiting the Egyptian Museum, home to an extensive collection of ancient Egyptian antiquities. It houses 120,000 items, with a significant number on display and the rest in storerooms. Built in 1901, the museum is one of the largest in the region. As of March 2019, it was open to the public, and in 2021, it is set to be replaced by the new Grand Egyptian Museum at Giza.

Cairo Citadel - Continue the tour by visiting The Citadel of Cairo, also known as the Citadel of Saladin, a medieval Islamic-era fortification in Cairo, Egypt. Built by Salah ad-Din and further developed by subsequent Egyptian rulers, it served as the seat of government and residence of rulers for nearly 700 years, from the 13th to the 19th centuries.

Khan Al-Khalili - Conclude the tour by visiting Khan el-Khalili, a famous bazaar and souq in Cairo’s historic center. Established as a trade center during the Mamluk era and named after one of its historic caravanserais, the bazaar district is now a major attraction for tourists and Egyptians alike.

After the tour, return to your hotel. Overnight in Cairo.

Journey from Cairo to Hurghada

Hurghada - After breakfast, our tour guide will pick you up at 6:00 AM for your drive to Hurghada. The distance between Cairo and Hurghada is 400 km. Arrive in Hurghada around 10:30 AM and check into your hotel. Enjoy a free day soaking up the sun and relaxing on the beach. Overnight in Hurghada.

Hurghada - After breakfast, enjoy a free day basking in the sun and enjoying the beach. Overnight in Hurghada.

Departure

Cairo - After breakfast, check out at 11:00 AM. Our driver will pick you up from your hotel in Hurghada and drive you to Hurghada airport for your internal flight back to Cairo airport for your final departure.
