Fantastic Egyptian Adventure - We made a great choice! Our trip started from Cairo airport, bring met by our driver, Ahmed, who took us to the Gawharet Al Ahram hotel in Giza.. This is a three star hotel and was very comfortable for the couple of nights we spent there. Nice, clean, rooms and good breakfasts Along with friendly staff always willing to help. The area around the hotel has several banks, with ATMs, and a fair few shops, even an expansive supermarket 👍🏻 Our daytime trip to the Pyramids and Sphinx introduced us to our guide Abbas who was awesome! He explained the histories of all the sites, was very personable and let us have our own time for photos etc. We left Giza feeling we had made a new friend 👍🏻 Our sleeper train from Giza to Aswan was a true experience... It's not the Orient Express by any means, but a nice chicken and rice dinner, a comfortable bunk and then a carb-heavy breakfast saw us arrive in Aswan some 13 hours later to be met by Ahmed, our new pal in Aswan... We boarded the M/S Semiramis II for our 4 day sail along the Nile to Luxor.. we were allocated a twin cabin with an opening window. It was very comfortably, if somewhat basically, appointed. For four days we visited many temples and tombs plus other sites. Some very early starts, around 4-5am but coming back to the boat to enjoy a very tasty buffet at lunch and dinner was great. The tour highlight was probably our dawn flight in a hot air balloon over Luxor.. it's hard to describe quite how exhilarating this is.. we soared over The Nile, The Valley of the Kings and extensive sugar cane fields.. To end our tour we returned on the northbound sleeper to Giza and the same hotel, the Gawharet Al Ahram where they welcomed us back like old friends and arranged an early check in for us too 🤗 This was an excellent choice for our first trip to Egypt.. we were genuinely taken by the warmth and humour of everyone we met or spoke with on our trip.. Special mentions, again, to : Bassant from Here Egypt Tours - always quick to respond to any queries and regularly checking in with us that all was going well. 🤗 Abbas Karama in Giza - possibly the must genuine and friendly guy we could have wished for 🤗 Ahmed in Giza - our driver and Mr Fixit who looked after us so well 🤗 Ahmed in Aswan - our Cruise Guide who worked so hard to make our trip such a success. Knowledgeable and always eager to help 🤗 If a trip to Egypt to see those sites you've always wanted to is on the cards, don't hesitate to go through Viator for this 7 day adventure. We always felt well looked after and thought it was excellent value for money👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Wonderful no stress touring of Egypt; everything was planned for me - Although I usually plan my own trips, this one had to be booked in a hurry since I I had limited time to squeeze it in before starting a new job. My tour planner Bassant would send me WhatsApp messages everyday to see how I was doing and then tell me when and where to go for my next activities. My guides would change depending on the location and all were good although Dina and Marcus were particularly good. I would definitely recommend Here Egypt Tours to anyone with limited time to plan - they made everything easy and had knowledgable guides to efficiently get me to the highlights and explain the history of each location.

Extra special tour - We saw the chaotic charm of Cairo, relaxed on a luxurious Nile cruise, and stood before massive temples like Karnak, Edfu, and Philae. Abu Simbel was an emotional moment , standing in front of something so old and perfectly preserved. What made this tour extra special was how well-organized everything was: pickups, domestic flights, and even meals. I never felt stressed or lost. The balloon ride added a unique adventure that I never thought I’d do in Egypt.

Egypt Experience - The tour in general was a great and memorable experience. It was a 7-day well-organized trip, and I felt safe, though I'm solo. The cruising, sights, ancient history, and Egyptian culture are absolutely fantastic. No dull moment in my group. I really appreciate Ahmed, our tour guide during the cruise; he's accommodating, well-informed, and fun to be with. The hot air balloon trip was exceptional. The way the Cairo tour was managed was good but not as impressive. The guide in Cairo (Caesar) was conversant; I was stunned when I saw the pyramids, and it's an awesome experience during the camel ride. I would like to thank Bassant and Mohammed for accommodating all my concerns and their professional driver. The most important thing is that they kept me safe. Generally, I would highly recommend this tour and definetely will come back again.

Trip of a lifetime! - Unbelievable! Loved Farooq & Rocky as our guides. Entire trip was seamless and they held our hand the entire time. Recommend upgrading to the sleeper cabin on the train,

Perfect - This was a great trip for us. They worked with us constantly to try and make the best itinerary and we were able to see a lot of places in a short time. We took the overnight train one way and flew the other and I would recommend upgrading to the flight as it saves a lot of time and you get better sleep. Keep in mind there is some free time so look to add an experience or 2 to maximize your time. They were very accommodating to us.

SUPERB. JUST GO FOR IT. EGYPT IS BEAUTIFUL. - We visited Egypt from 23.03.24 to 30.03.24 after booking this package at Viator. First things first....People who madeit possible.... Many Thanks to Ms Mona for being immensely helpful at each and every step of our trip. She constantly kept tab of each and everything on a day to day basis to ensure that we were being taken good care of. My heart goes out to Mr. MOHAMED in Cairo and his wonderful team that includes Rahim, Caesar and Farroukh. They took extra care of me and my family. They were prompt, courteous and friendly during our visits to various places. Despite it being Ramadan period and the associated fasting, these guys were always there for us for any help. A special mention to Mr. Shakour in Luxor. The man is an encyclopedia on Egyptian history. A thorough gentleman and a seasoned expert, words fail me in thanking him for his contribution to make this trip a memorable one. Time Now for the day to day activities Day 1. We were picked right on time from Cairo Airport by Mr. Mohamed. On our way to hotel he showed us around the beautiful city of Cairo. It s a very big and spread out city. Hotel Pyramid Oasis has a terrace with a decent view of Pyramids. I wanted that specially and it didn't dissappoint. Day 2. Wonderful trip to the Great Pyramids. Took photos from each and every angle possible, Thanks to patience of Mr. Caesar who was ever smiling. Pyramids and Sphinx are truly magnificent. Dropped at Giza train station for next leg of tour from Aswan. Day 3. Picked up on time from Aswan to Five star cruise. It's a beautiful cruise. Well maintained clean and very high quality rooms. Dining area and buffet were amazingly good. Went to Philae temple trip and back. Came back Rested and relaxed on open deck of the cruise. Beauty of Nile on full display. Day 4. Early trip to AbuSimbel through Desert. Beautiful Roads till Abu Simbel. Nice Scenery all around. Sahara geserts glory on full display. Came back around 3pm and cruise started onwards towards Luxor. Stopped at Kom Ombo on the way. Grand temple with huge pillars. Beautiful. Overnight journey to Edfu. Day 5. Morning horse carriage to Edfu. Once again we were left dumbstruck by the grandiose Edfu temple. Huge pylon and tall pillars. Mr. Shakour explained everything in a simple way. Rested on Cruise and through Esna Lock reached Luxor in evening. Day 6 was very busy. Had unforgettable balloon ride, trip to V o Kings , Hatshepsut temple and a train journey back to Cairo Day 7. Rested after a hectic week. Dinner in hotel Pyramid Oasis terrace was very good Day 8 Caught our flight back home with wonderful lifetime memories. My family felt we were lucky to get a great experience and were able to make lifetime memories.

A History Lesson at the Pyramids - I had many speculations about the pyramids, and finally decided to visit them. I was pleasantly surprised to learn so much history about these iconic structures thanks to our knowledgeable guide. They explained everything in great detail, and I left the pyramids with a newfound appreciation for their significance. I am grateful for the purpose of my visit, and highly recommend others to experience the history lesson at the pyramids.

Best tour for a solo female traveler - For anyone who is having second thoughts about visiting Egypt with safety being a concern I would recommend taking a tour package like this one. I had an absolute amazing time and was taken care of every step of the way- be it booking this tour, extra activities, regular check-ins and a best birthday cake surprise from the tour agents. A wonderful tour with lots of experiences - Even before we joined the trip, Ms. Mona gave us a lot of information and travel suggestions, which made it a great tour. During the tour, our guides Mr.Yousry, Mr.Sam and Mr. Zakarya also told us about the history, culture, and highlights of Egypt, and took many photos. In particular, Mr. Yousry understood our feelings and responded wonderfully. We had a great experience on this tour and were really happy. Sincerely thank.
