Great tour guide on the Nile! - I was part of a small group tour and we did a Nile Cruise from Luxor to Aswan. Khaled was our tour guide and he was excellent! If you are able to catch this man as a tour guide, you are in luck. He is very passionate and knowledgable about ancient Egypt. This man holds two masters degrees associated with ancient Egypt and loves to share what he knows with curious folks. The cruise was lovely. The food on the boat was amazing and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this Nile Cruise and tour guide to anyone looking to see the Nile, enjoy themselves and learn about ancient Egypt.

Great tour with the most important highlights - Varied tour with the most important highlights from about 4000 years of Egyptian history. Good organization, via two guides in Cairo and the Nile ship, as well as an organizer in Cairo. Special requests worked well. For Cairo makes a hotel downtown. Abu Simbel is an absolute must. Is optionally bookable. We stayed and Luxor and didn't have to pay for the return trip. The tours very valuable. The temples should not be made without.

Watch out for your train Sleeper!!! - TRAIN BERTHS UNCOMFORTABLE.A BAD POINT FOR THE IMAGE OF EGYPT Not far from a disaster. I've never seen a bunk train so dirty and disgusting. The bunks corridors and toilets were disgusting , unworthy to make tourists travel. We took this train from LOUXOR to Cairo on Thursday 27 March in the late afternoon in a group of 20 people. It was very critical ..; at the risk of getting insects and catching diseases .I do not understand that the Egyptian government or their train service put trains like this into service .It is a shame for the image of this country. Remove from circulation immediately

DO NOT take the Abela sleeper trains - THEY ARE HORRIBLE - If you are taking any Cairo, Aswan, Nile Cruise trip DO NOT opt for the overnight sleeper train in Egypt. IT IS HORRIBLE.  The sleeper coaches are very old and filthy - not dirty "FILTHY".  Saying they are uncomfortable would be too nice - the ride is pure torture!  The train is a commuter train with a few sleeper coaches. The train stopped every 10 to 30 minutes.  It jerks, rattles, and rocks so badly that it throws you off your bed.  The trip took 14 hours from Cairo to Aswan and approximately 12 hours from Luxor to Cairo.  The beds have approximately 1" of padding. The steward opens up the beds after dinner in over. If time allows, the steward will close the beds back up in the morning so you can eat your breakfast.  There is very little room to store your luggage so you must move suitcases around to get to the little sink in the cabin.  Each coach has one toilet to be shared by all the people in the sleeper cabins in that coach.  The toilet seats are cracked and filthy.  There isn't enough toilet paper.  There was one small package of paper towels to dry your hands if you washed them in the restroom.  Once the toilet paper and paper towels run out, they are not replenished.  The food is not good. It is delivered on trays and placed either on a portable tray holder (which hadn’t been cleaned in years) or on a fold-out table. The steward comes back to remove the trays.  There is a button to push if you need service from the steward. Bottles of water are provided at an extra cost.  Cabin maintenance is poor. The door to the cabinet by the sink would not stay closed – it popped open every time the train jerked. We had to wedge something in it to prevent it from opening.
