The museum features over 250,000 artifacts, including a special exhibit dedicated to Tutankhamen’s treasures, gold, and jewelry, which remained sealed in his tomb for more than 3,500 years.
- Mosque of Muhammad Ali - Also known as the “Alabaster Mosque” due to the gleaming marble that adorns its interior and exterior walls. It was constructed for prayer and as a burial site for Mohamed Ali. Mohamed Ali’s tomb is located on the eastern side, adjacent to the prayer area.
- Cairo Citadel - The Citadel became the focal point of these grand fortifications, safeguarding the city from the elevated rocky hills that surround it. Completed in 1183 AD, Saladin’s Citadel served as Egypt’s seat of government for 700 years until Khedive Ismail relocated to Abdeen Palace in the newly developed Downtown Cairo in the 1870s.

- Coptic Cairo - Coptic Cairo is a distinctive area within Old Cairo, featuring a concentration of Christian churches and sites dating from the period between the decline of the pharaonic religion and the advent of Islam, when Egypt had a Christian majority. Coptic Cairo is primarily built around the Babylon fort, atop the remnants of its walls. Visitors can enjoy exploring the Hanging Church, Ben Ezra Synagogue, Church of St. Barbara, and Church of Abu Serga.

Great experience - Our Egypt trip was an amazing experience, covering three days in Cairo with Memphis Tours. The history, culture, and iconic sites made it truly unforgettable. Our guide, Donya Mohamed , was knowledgeable and engaging, while our tour leader, Islam Essam, ensured everything ran smoothly. Overall, it was a well-organized and highly enjoyable journey.

Wonderful trip and highly recommended - From our arrival at Cairo airport to our return in 10 days everything was perfect. The Sheraton hotel very well and good breakfasts in quantity, quality and variety.
Hotel restaurant for dinner are the Sapporo (Japanese), an Italian Gino's and the cafeteria, all very good quality and affordable prices. The tour of pyramids, the Grand Museums of Cairo, Coptic neighborhood, etc. very well and with some magnificent guides and drivers.
The cruiser advised MS Salacian Nile. A small boat of no more than 50 people and we were about 24 or 25 (more staff than passengers). Very good food, quality , quantity and for all tastes and nationalities. Spacious cabins with 2 toilets, wooden boat inside very nice and with comfortable lounges and terraces.The staff could not be kinder. Our private journeys, without queues, without burdens, in quality vehicles good drivers and better guides and representatives. ALWAYS feel safe and accompanied. Visits to the different monuments well explained by prepared guides.
Thanks to Mrs. Asrhaf my advisor on the trip, to Representatives Abu Kabir and Faid, to the guides Farouk, Mohamed of Aswan, Deen and the drivers: the Soldier? And everyone else.
The only black mole were the 3 lunches included in visits 2 in Cairo and 1 in Alexandria. The first 2 exactly the same "tourist menu"? Cold, dry and poorly cooked and the last of the finest quality fish and seafood (plus we are seaport in Andalucia as well as Alexandria). Ultimately outstanding journey
I don't give you the outstanding cum laudem for the latter.

Very fulfilling experience with our guide Osama Ismail and driver Hasan. - We spent 4 days in Egypt visiting, in addition to the Great Egyptian Museum, the great pyramids and the stepped pyramid of Saqqara, the city of Cairo, the Coptic quarter and the most important mosques. We also spent a day in Alexandria with a visit to the most significant places.
During the trip we were always accompanied by Osama Ismail who proved to be an exceptional guide with deep knowledge of both ancient and modern Egyptian history. He gave us detailed explanations about all the monuments visited with very precise historical references for each. He speaks perfect Italian and we could not have asked for better.
To complete our satisfaction our appreciation also goes to Hassan, the driver who accompanied us all these days, always calm despite the traffic in Cairo, cautious and vigilant driving.
The organization of the trip satisfied us completely and we were always assisted in a timely manner by Memphis Tours.

Experience with Memphis Tour - The experience of my first trip to Egypt was unforgettable thanks to Memphis Tour. From the beginning, I am grateful for the wonderful management of Esraa Mohamed, who very warmly and closely organized a trip tailored for us, with incredible professionalism and goodwill. Our local guides, Mahmoud Elbelbisi in Cairo and Alexandria, Moja Rabie during the Nile crossing and the various temples, showed vast knowledge in the matter, very professional and excellent hosts. Mahmoud in Hurghada was always very willing and attentive to our needs. The transfers to the different locations thanks to Memphis Tour drivers were impeccable. Special mention is made of Mohamed Taha, our leading guide, who made this trip an extraordinary experience. We're really sorry for a new friend. Thanks for everything!

Quick of Cairo - I would like to recommend this company, because the visit to Cairo the museums, pyramids, and Alexandria were perfect, very good guide' Mickaël ' the restaurants very well too, the vehicles are old , the seat belts not working , do not subscribe to an activity other than those offered in the program they are overpriced , felucca tour 45 minutes 46€ while it is offered at 15€

NOT RECOMMENDED TO BOOK DIRECTLY WITH THEM!!! - Do not book directly from them!!! If a problem happens, it becomes a HUGE problem! I booked Cairo and Nile cruise for 4 people for €14,000!!! Half immediately the other half to be paid on arrival (at night) 50% in cash and the other half by bank transfer. Paid in cash € 4200 (at 4 am otherwise they did not let us go to sleep ) for the transfer of the balance of € 4000 and a problem arose with the link provided (they do not have a POS !!!!). They allowed us to go to sleep but the next day, due to the failure to solve the problem with the connection, they threatened us that the trip could not continue (after collecting € 10,000!!! ). I had to make an immediate transfer from a relative from whom they demanded declaration of guarantee, copy credit card and passport!!!! As for the cash, they NEVER gave us the receipt! Every day promising it, teasing us beautifully!!! GO TO THE ITALIAN TOUR OPERATORS FOR EGYPT!!!! Too much risk with these places!!!
