• Cairo - Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, guests will be warmly welcomed by an expert tour guide holding a sign with their name. They will then be transported in a private air-conditioned vehicle to Giza City to commence their Cairo layover tour.

After the tour, guests will be returned to Cairo International Airport for their final departure.

• Giza Plateau - The Cairo layover tour to the Giza Pyramids begins and concludes at Cairo Airport, available from 7 am to 1 pm. Upon exiting the terminal, guests will be greeted by a tour guide holding a sign with their name and will be transported to Giza City in a modern private vehicle. En route, the tour guide will provide a comprehensive overview of Egypt’s history.

Upon arrival in Giza City, guests will visit the Giza Pyramids, recognized as one of the Seven Wonders of the World. The visit begins with the Great Pyramid, built by King Cheops, also known as Khufu in Arabic. The guide will share historical insights about ancient Egypt and the reasons behind the construction of the pyramids.

• Great Pyramid of Cheops (Khufu) - Khufu’s pyramid complex includes a valley temple, now buried beneath the village of Nazlet el-Samman. Diabase paving and nummulitic limestone walls have been discovered, though the site remains unexcavated. The valley temple was linked to a causeway, largely destroyed during the village’s construction.
• Khafre’s Pyramid - Khafre’s pyramid complex features a valley temple, the Sphinx temple, a causeway, a mortuary temple, and the king’s pyramid. The valley temple revealed several statues of Khafre, discovered in a well in the temple floor by Mariette in 1860, with further finds during later excavations by Sieglin (1909–10), Junker, and Reisner.
• Menkaure Pyramid - Menkaure’s pyramid complex comprises a valley temple, a causeway, a mortuary temple, and the king’s pyramid. The valley temple once housed several statues of Menkaure. During the 5th Dynasty, a smaller ante-temple was added to the valley temple. The mortuary temple also yielded several statues of Menkaure.
• Great Sphinx - Conclude the layover day tour with a visit to The Sphinx, located near the Valley Temple. The Sphinx is the oldest and largest in Egypt, featuring a lion’s body and a human head, symbolizing power and intellect. The face of the Sphinx is a likeness of Khafre, who constructed the Middle Pyramid of Giza.

Camel rides and entry into any of the pyramids can be arranged for an additional charge.

After completing the visit, guests will be transported back to Cairo Airport.
