• Pyramids of Giza - The Giza pyramid complex, also known as the Giza necropolis, is located in Egypt and features the Great Pyramid, the Pyramid of Khafre, and the Pyramid of Menkaure, along with their associated complexes and the Great Sphinx. These were constructed during the Fourth Dynasty of the Old Kingdom of ancient Egypt, around 2600 to 2500 BC. The site also includes several temples, cemeteries, and remnants of a workers’ village.
• Saqqara (Sakkara) Pyramids - Next, visit the first pyramid in history at Saqqara, along with some tombs of nobles. Saqqara is an ancient burial ground for Egyptian royalty, serving as the necropolis for the ancient Egyptian capital, Memphis.
• Mit Rahina Museum - Memphis, the ancient city and capital of Egypt, was a significant center throughout much of Egyptian history. Located south of the Nile River delta on the west bank, about 15 miles (24 km) south of modern Cairo, you will see the large statue of Ramses II and the alabaster sphinx before returning safely to your hotel.
• The Museum of Egyptian Antiquities - Accompanied by your tour guide, visit the Egyptian Museum, which showcases artifacts from the Pharaonic period. The museum houses a rare collection of 5,000 years of art, considered the largest and most valuable collection of Egyptian art globally. Over 250,000 genuine artifacts are displayed, including an exhibit dedicated to the treasures, gold, and jewelry of Tutankhamen, which were sealed in his tomb for over 3,500 years until its discovery in the 1920s. Transfer back to your hotel.
• Coptic Cairo - Enjoy a day tour to Coptic Cairo to visit the Hanging Church, the Holy Crypt Church where the Holy Family stayed, and the synagogue for Jewish and Islamic Cairo. Explore Old Cairo, where you can admire the 3rd-century Hanging Church, built on the remains of the Babylon Fortress towers, and the Church of Abu Serga, where the Holy Crypt is located, along with the Ben Ezra Synagogue for Jewish history, before returning to your hotel.
