Our tourist guide was... - Our tourist guide was great ! He is very knowledgeable and he not only took us to the camel ride and the pyramids. We also went to a papyrus museum, a neckless local factory and a famous perfume store.

Must do camel ride experience. - The tour was so eady for 2 new tourists.. Tonsi and his driver picked us up at the hotel with plenty of water and snacks for us. We were very luck to have Tonsi as our guide on our trip and we recommend him to everyone. He spoke excellent English and was so knowledgeable of current and ancient Egypt. He provided great education on the pyramids and the sphinx and ensured we had a fun and effortless camel ride. In addition he was constantly taking pictures on his phone and on ours so we had plenty to go through once the trip was over. During the camel ride, Tonsi introduced us to a great team who took us through the desert and provided plenty of humor and photo opportunities. We recommend this trip to anyone looking for a safe and effortless Giza experience.

Sunrise at Giza Pyramids - My tour began when Mohsen (my tour guide) and Farg (my driver) arrived to pick me up from the hotel. After greeting me Mohsen introduced me to Farg and explained the days' plans to me. Mohsen is well-spoken and has extensive knowledge about Egyptian history which he enthusiastically shared while Farg safely navigated us towards Giza. It wasn't long before we were hopping onto camels and making our way to a place that overlooked the Egyptian desert with the pyramids in the backdrop. Mohsen, (who is handy with the camera and knew all the spots to get good shots from) managed to get some beautiful photos while he continued to educate me about the history of the pyramids. upon the conclusion of the camel ride, I decided to extend my tour and we headed to the pyramids. Mohsen knew most of the staff at Giza which meant we were actually the very first people to enter the pyramid, so for the entire time I was inside the pyramids, I was completely alone (amazing once in a lifetime experience). Mohsen explained the mummification process as we walked through Valley temple and also explained the history behind the Sphinx. The best tour in Egypt - Emo tours offers such wonderful tours. All the stuff were very kind, helpful, attentive and polite. I really enjoyed camel ride during sunrise. I will definitely come back to egypt to discover more if it with Emo tours.

Decent enough way to spend a couple of hours. - A fairly enjoyable couple of hours riding the camels in the desert areas around the Giza pyramid perimeter. if you expect to get up close to the pyramids on this trip...YOU WON'T! Although at one point, you are taken to an elevated point where the pyramids are visible in the background for a photo opportunity. Water is available at this point, but at your own expense. The guides were keen enough and eager to please, but also very keen on a massive tip. Mine suggested I give him $30! I gave him $10 but that was only because the camels looked like they desperately needed a meal. One word of warning, as you are led through the narrow alleyways along the border fence you WILL see dead horse, dog and cat carcasses. Not something we're used to in the Western world so be ready for that.
