Day 1: Arrival in Cairo ‘Welcome to Egypt’

Cairo - Upon your arrival at Cairo International Airport, a tour manager from Luna Travel Egypt will greet and assist you with arrival procedures. You will then be escorted to your hotel in Cairo in a comfortable, air-conditioned deluxe vehicle. At the hotel, the tour manager will facilitate a smooth check-in and review your private budget vacation itinerary with you, confirming pick-up times for your tours. Overnight stay in Cairo.

Day 2: Explore Cairo – Train to Aswan

Pyramids of Giza - After enjoying breakfast at your hotel in Cairo, check out and join your personal tour guide for a visit to the Giza Plateau. Here, you will explore one of the seven wonders of the ancient world: the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chefren, and Mykerinus, along with the famous Sphinx and the Valley Temple. Enjoy lunch at a high-quality local restaurant.

The Museum of Egyptian Antiquities - Continue your day with a visit to the Egyptian Museum, including the Treasures room of the young king Tutankhamen.

Day 3: Aswan Nile Cruise Adventures

Temple of Philae - Upon arrival at Aswan train station, a Sun Pyramids Tours representative will meet and assist you, transferring you to your Nile River boat.

Enjoy lunch on board, followed by a guided tour to the impressive High Dam, the magnificent Philae Temple dedicated to the goddesses Isis and Hathor, and the largest known ancient Obelisk, the unfinished Obelisk, located in the northern stone quarries of ancient Egypt. Return to the cruise for dinner and overnight stay in Aswan.

Day 4: Temples of Kom Ombo and Edfu

Temple of Kom Ombo - In the morning, enjoy breakfast on board while sailing to Kom Ombo. Upon arrival, visit the Temple shared by the gods Sobek and Haeroris in Kom Ombo.

Temple of Horus - Return to your Nile boat to sail to Edfu, with lunch on board. Visit the best-preserved cult temple in Egypt, the Temple of Horus in Edfu. Enjoy afternoon tea while sailing to Esna. Dinner and overnight stay on board.

Day 5: Luxor Nile Cruise Excursions

Valley of the Kings - Early morning sailing to Luxor with breakfast on board, followed by a visit to the West Bank of Luxor. Take an excursion to the royal cemetery for 62 Pharaohs, the Valley of the Kings.

Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el Bahari - Visit the mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, constructed by the architects of the New Kingdom Pharaoh Hatshepsut around the 15th century BC, at El-Deir El-Bahari, and the Colossi of Memnon. Return to the Nile Cruise for lunch on board. Enjoy afternoon tea on the Nile boat. Dinner and overnight stay in Luxor.

Day 6: Luxor Nile Cruise – Train to Cairo

Temple of Karnak - Enjoy breakfast on the cruise before disembarking. Accompanied by your tour guide, visit the Karnak and Luxor temples on the East bank of Luxor. Later, transfer to Luxor train station to board the sleeper train back to Cairo. Dinner will be served on the sleeper train. Overnight in your private compartment.

Day 7: Leisure Day

Cairo - Optional tours available in Cairo or Alexandria.

Day 8: Cairo – Departure

Cairo - Enjoy breakfast at your hotel in Cairo, with some free time before your flight. Check out and transfer to Cairo International Airport for your final departure.
