Review after completing 2 others. - IF YOU'RE CONSIDERING PURCHASING THIS TOUR, DO IT!!! I've already written one review on this, but I'm coming back with an update. Muhammad's tour was the 1st of 3 that I purchased through this site so my initial review had no comparison. After all 3 tours, this one was ABSOLUTELY the best and most knowledgeable tour I experienced. Compared to him, other tours are simply a "money-grab" from unsuspecting tourists that want to learn more about the history of such a beautiful people and land. I've been studying Egyptology and hieroglyphics since I was a child (I'm 39 now). I'm not expert, but I know a lot. Muhammad was expert-level knowledgeable, could read hieroglyphics, and explain the religious, cultural, and historical significance of each piece in the museum in a way that excited me as a life-long learner. He was patient and thorough with his explanations and his passion shows with his approach. Regarding his passion for it- You can tell that he'd do this job for free if he could. There was a time when he explained something to me, as I was taking pictures, he offered a detailed explanation to an elderly man who just so happened to have a question about the item (meanwhile, one of my other tour guides simply sat down and didn't explain anything once she realized that she couldn't BS me by making up explanations and providing false information (even the shuttle driver told me that she wasn't a good person and shouldn't be trusted). Muhammad is a stand-up guy with REAL knowledge. Do yourself a favor and purchase his tour!

BEST tour guide in Cairo - This was probably the best part of my day entire trip to Egypt! Of course, who doesn’t want to see Tutankhamun? But, what made this trip super special was my guide, Mohamed Gomaa. There are good guides, great guides, and then there is Mohamed. He was amazing. He taught me basically a college course during our 3.5 hours at the museum. This guy knows what he’s talking about. He presented theories and ideas where things are still unknown. When I come back to Egypt, I’m hiring him to take me around for two weeks, as guide and friend. Our driver Ehab was professional and safe. Great experience!

Best guide in Cairo - Mohamed was the highlight of my trip to Cairo. Hes EXTREMELY knowledgeable of ancient Egyptian culture, history, and religion - almost encyclopedic. He intentionally crafted the tour of the museum in a way that progressively told story of Egypt from beginning to present day. I bought 3 private tour guide services while in Egypt and his knowledge of the field was by far the most advanced. In addition, he heard my girlfriend and I discussing our upcoming flight and even arranged an affordable transport service for us. Highly recommend. 10/10

Great morning at the... - Great morning at the museum. Mohamed G was very informative and we learnt a lot. Recommend not start a bit later in the morning when all the tour groups leave. By 10:30am the musuem had emptied out a lot.

Nice definitely but - I visited the Caio museum with a Bravo excursion. Nice for the content but not the structure and not very accessible in certain places. Very hot heat. Big really big I would say labyrinthine. An outdated and ill-maintained structure which is incomprehensible.
