The Egyptian Museum: This is the oldest museum in Egypt and on the African continent, constructed between 1897 and 1901. When it opened in 1901, the museum showcased approximately 5,000 masterpieces. Today, the collection has grown to over 150,000 pieces.
The highlight of the Egyptian Museum is the Golden Treasures of King Tut, including the famous golden mask.
Visitors have the opportunity to explore the royal mummy room or purchase a photography ticket. These activities require an additional fee not included in the itinerary.
Lunch will be provided at a local restaurant, though drinks are not included.
