If you like queues for hours - this is a must visit venue! - Long queues, no organization, overcrowding - all leading to a terrible experience! First, I fully appreciate and want to make it clear that we chose to visit on a local holiday. That, coupled with the long weekend, meant we expected a busier-than-normal experience. What we did not expect was: • 1.5hrs in the queue to pay and enter the facility •. 1hr in another queue to be given boots and clothing •. Huge piles of boots, trousers, jackets and gloves scattered throughout the security locker area (there are designated return bays for items less than 10meters from the lockers). • 1 hour queue to take a rubber tube in order to use one of the slides, only to use it ONCE and be told that the next person waiting must take it to use - meaning another turn on the slide meant another 1 hour waiting in a queue!! So, essentially, 3.5hrs waiting in queues just to be able to use a downhill tube slide 1 time The facility is extremely poorly organised, far too many people are permitted access at one time and it ruins the experience for most - especially younger children. Grown men and women somehow feel the need to try and cheat queues because they appear to be self-entitled - some even pushing young children out of the way. The facility would benefit from staff managing the queue areas, instead of just letting people please themselves. The cost, instead comparison for what you actually get - horrendous. A day standing in queues and not hai g family fun. Overall - unless you go during a normal week day when others are at work, school etc - avoid this like the plague!
