Edfu - Once one of the wealthiest cities in Upper Egypt, Edfu is situated on the Nile, guarding the gate of the Fortress of Philae and connecting with Koptos. It is significant as the home of the god Horus in the south.
Kom Ombo - The Temple of Kom Ombo was constructed during the reign of Ptolemy VI. It is unique among temples as it honors two local gods: Sobek and Horus, the latter depicted with a falcon head.
ASWAN
Aswan High Dam - The Aswan Dam is a crucial monument, built during the era of Gamal Abdel Nasser with Soviet assistance. It is a key source of electricity for Egypt, with the dam’s structure featuring two wings: one for electric generators and the other for Lake Nasser.

ASWAN
Abu Simbel - After departing the Nile cruise, you can visit the Abu Simbel Temples (optional). These two massive rock-carved temples are dedicated to King Ramesses II, known for the sun’s alignment with the statues, and Queen Nefertari, celebrated for its exquisite inscriptions and vibrant colors. After the visit, transfer to the train station for a journey back to Cairo.
