Cairo to Bahariya

Cairo - A Sun Pyramids Tours representative will collect you from your Cairo hotel at 6:00 AM. You will then be transferred from Cairo or Giza to Bahariya, a 365 km journey by a modern air-conditioned vehicle, taking approximately 4 hours.

Bahariya Oasis Guide - The journey to Bahariya covers 365 km and takes about 4 hours.

Tombs of the Nobles - Upon arrival in Bahariya, visit the Golden Mummies Museum from the Graeco-Roman period, followed by the Tombs of the Nobles.

Bahariya Cemetery - Upon arrival in Bahariya, explore the Golden Mummies Museum from the Graeco-Roman period, then proceed to the Tombs of the Nobles, Ain Mefettella, and Alexander Temples. Later, visit the ruins on a hill known as “the English House” at sunset to enjoy a panoramic view of the Oasis. Overnight stay in Bahariya.

Bahariya–Gara Cave (also known as Djara Cave)

Bahariya Oasis Guide - After breakfast, embark on a tour to the Gara Cave, located 170 km off-road. Enjoy lunch at the foot of sand dunes or at a chosen spot. Dinner and overnight camping.

White Desert - After breakfast, visit the Magic Spring and Ain Khadra for lunch, then continue to the Santa tree (Magic tree). Experience the White Desert, renowned for its stunning white limestone formations that create unique rock shapes in the sand. Overnight camping.

Bahariya-Cairo

Bahariya Oasis Guide - After breakfast, visit Crystal Mountain and the Black Mountains.

Cairo - Upon returning to Bahariya, you will have a shower before heading back to Cairo, a journey of about 4 hours.

For your information, the hotel has an unused open backyard area with a pool that has been out of service since 2004, following instructions from the Egyptian government. Therefore, it should not be considered part of the hotel’s features or amenities.
