• Giza Plateau - The tour starts at 8:00 am with a pickup from your hotel in Cairo or Giza by a tour guide to embark on a full-day tour of Giza. Visit the Giza Pyramids, including the Great Pyramids of Giza - Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinos. Then, explore the Valley Temple, where priests mummified King Chephren, the owner of the second pyramid at Giza Plateau. This is also where you can get a close-up view of the Sphinx, the legendary guardian with a lion’s body and the head of King Chephren, standing by the grand funeral complex. (2.30 hours spent)
• Great Pyramid of Cheops (Khufu) - Khufu’s pyramid complex includes a valley temple, now beneath the village of Nazlet el-Samman. Diabase paving and nummulitic limestone walls have been discovered, but the site remains unexcavated. The valley temple was linked to a causeway, largely destroyed during the village’s construction.
• Khafre’s Pyramid - Khafre’s pyramid complex features a valley temple, the Sphinx temple, a causeway, a mortuary temple, and the king’s pyramid. The valley temple revealed several statues of Khafre, some found in a well in the temple’s floor by Mariette in 1860.
• Menkaure Pyramid - Menkaure’s pyramid complex includes a valley temple, a causeway, a mortuary temple, and the king’s pyramid. The valley temple once housed several statues of Menkaure. During the 5th Dynasty, a smaller ante-temple was added to the valley temple. The mortuary temple also contained several statues of Menkaure.
• Great Sphinx - The Sphinx dates back to the reign of King Khafre. During the New Kingdom, Amenhotep II dedicated a new temple to Hauron-Haremakhet, which was expanded by later rulers.
• Saqqara (Sakkara) Pyramids - Continue your day tour to Sakkara, located just 27 km southwest of Cairo. Visit the Step Pyramid, built for King Zoser, which is a significant part of the pyramid evolution process, transitioning from a simple mastaba to its well-known form. (2 hours)
• Pyramid of Unas - The Pyramid of Unas, known in Egyptian as Nfr swt Wnjs “Beautiful are the places of Unas,” is a smooth-sided pyramid constructed in the 24th century BC for Pharaoh Unas, the ninth and final king of the Fifth Dynasty. It is the smallest Old Kingdom pyramid but is notable for the Pyramid Texts, spells for the king’s afterlife inscribed on the walls of its subterranean chambers. This tradition of funerary texts began with Unas’s pyramid and continued in the pyramids of later rulers, extending into the Middle Kingdom with the Coffin Texts that form the basis of the Book of the Dead.

• Mastaba of Ti - The Mastaba of Ti is one of Saqqara’s most significant archaeological sites. Discovered by Auguste Mariette, the mastaba contains two serdabs. The tomb’s walls depict various scenes of everyday life.
• Memphis and Sakkara - Continue your day tour to Memphis City, the ancient capital of Egypt, where the colossal statue of Ramses II and the great Alabaster Sphinx are located. This city dates back to 3100 B.C. (1 hour)
