After being picked up and transferred from your hotel in Cairo, travel to the pyramids and the Great Sphinx. Settle in as they are beautifully illuminated by artistic lasers and lights, narrating the story of their construction and life in Ancient Egypt thousands of years ago.
As the 1-hour show progresses with projections onto the pyramids of Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure, learn more about the reign of the Egyptian pharaohs.
Once the show concludes, a driver will be ready to take you to El Moez Street. This street, known as Moez Ledin Allah, is the largest open-air museum showcasing the Islamic world’s heritage, located in the Al-Azhar region of Cairo, Fatimid Cairo. It is a popular destination, attracting hundreds of thousands of visitors daily. The street dates back to 969 AD, coinciding with the establishment of Fatimid Cairo. It is bordered by the Fotouh Gate to the north, the Victory Gate to the south, and the remains of Cairo’s walls to the east, with Port Said Street to the west.
Moez Ledin Allah Fatimid Street features a variety of historical and architectural treasures from different eras, including the Fatimid, Umayyad, Mamluk, and Circassian Mamluk periods, spanning from the 10th to the 16th century AD, followed by Turkish rule. The street is named after the Fatimid Caliph Moez Ledin Allah, who sent the commander Jawhar to Egypt in 358 AH – 969 AD.
