Solid tour, attention to additional costs - Basically, the tour was fine:
- Pick up was top
- Food was delicious (buffet, also suitable for vegetarians and had no stomach problems)
- Sights were visited in the following series: ANCIENT Egyptian Museum, Nile Cruise, Perfume Factory, Restaurant, Pyramids, Sphinx, Papyrus Shop
- Guide knew language safely and was understandable
It is a pity that in addition to the package already paid for, there is a constant attempt to sell additional packages. The Nile cruise with 10 euros is optionally bookable on site that was known in advance. However, you are also urged to do so locally - We had to kindly decline several times.
The perfume shop was not included in the tour and resembled mass handling with overpriced prices: 30€ for the smallest bottle of perfume. Again, there are several follow-ups on whether and what you want to buy.
The situation is similar with the papyrus business. The highly praised difference between real and fake papyrus, which should be explained to us on the spot, we never knew. For this we were asked three times what we wanted to buy - after our third rejection also the seller reacted quite harshly.
The additional stops meant that the remaining time for the Sphinx was very short: Get off the bus, hop, run after the guide, quickly take a photo and immediately back again so you can still stop at the papyrus shop - this is not tragic and other tours keep it similar, but affects the overall situation.
Also it should be known that the old and nciht the new Egyptian museum was approached.
So the tour is a great way for anyone to get to know Cairo from Hurghada in one day if you don't spend much time in Egypt.
However, you should be prepared for the fact that many additional costs can arise (special costs Nile trip, special entrance pyramid see from the inside, camel ride, perfumery, papayrus, etc.)

Amazing to see but that’s it done - Trip was long which we expected. We enjoyed the pyramids and the museum but the oil factory was a wasted time when we could have been heading back to resort was told it would be 16-18 hours took 22 hours tour guide was not the best had better experience else where thought he was more for the polish tourists on trip than the English and we did book an English trip was given a head set in museum but could only hear little bits now and again did say a few times I couldn’t hear and when he spoke into his mike it was fine but then he would talk normally again and you don’t hear

Book somewhere else - Sadly this tour wasn’t our favorite. Not because the pyramids disappoint but because of the way the trip is organized and the priority of our guide that day.
The booking is excl. 10€ environmental fee. Which is fine and clear stated in what’s excluded. But everything else was one big upselling show. The Neil water boot 40 mins was extra but if you where not in there you would have to wait an hour in the van. You could book the option to go into the pyrmaide tickets cost 280 Egyptian pounds about 5 euro but we get charged by our guide 15 euro each.
All the souvenirs we had to buy at his shops he was friends with. Next to all this upselling we didn’t get told a lot about the museum or the rest of the tour. We mainly had to ask things but that is not really what you hope from a guide.
The drivers where nice and friendly but like I said the tour guide was not a great experience.
