Giza Pyramids and City Tour

Pyramids of Giza - Experience the last standing wonder of the ancient world. Visit the Giza pyramids and marvel at the Sphinx, revered by the Ancient Egyptians as a deity, with its unique human face and lion’s body. Enjoy a camel ride around the pyramids and explore The Egyptian Museum, renowned for its vast collection of Egyptian artifacts, including treasures from King Tutankhamen’s tomb and the Royal Mummy room. The museum’s exhibits are spread over two floors, featuring the treasures of King Tutankhamen, the Animal Mummy Room, and much more. Conclude your day with a visit to the Khan el Khalili bazaar to experience the vibrant life of Cairo’s citizens before returning to your hotel.

Alexandria

Alexandria National Museum - Good morning! Meet your private tour guide in your hotel lobby or designated location to begin your delightful tour of Alexandria, the Mediterranean Bride. As Egypt’s second-largest city and major seaport, Alexandria was founded by Alexander the Great in 334 B.C. and served as the capital for over a millennium until the Arab conquest in 642 A.D.

Begin your exploration with the Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, a wonder of the Middle Ages dating back to the first century A.D. Visit Pompey’s Pillar and the remains of the Serapeum, an ancient temple dedicated to the god Serapis. Discover the new Library of Alexandria, inaugurated in 2002, and enjoy a guided tour. The ancient lighthouse, once a wonder of the ancient world, is now replaced by the Fort of Qaitbay, a fine example of Mamluk military architecture, offering panoramic views. Return to Cairo in the evening.

Luxor

Luxor Temple - After breakfast, fly to Luxor and begin your tour at the Valley of the Kings, the royal burial ground of over 60 Pharaohs. Visit the Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon. Continue to the east bank to explore the Luxor and Karnak temples. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Luxor.

Aswan

Aswan Market - After breakfast, travel by train to Aswan. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and start your tour with a motorboat ride to the island of Philae Temple. Visit the Temple of Isis, which remained active until 550 A.D. when Emperor Justinian closed it. Legend has it that Isis found Osiris’s heart here. Next, visit the High Dam, constructed between 1960 and 1970, which controls floods, provides irrigation water, and generates electricity. Lake Nasser, created by the dam, is 550 km long and 35 km wide. The dam itself is 111 m tall, 3800 m long, and 980 m wide at the base, tapering to 40 m at the crest.
