Egyptian Museum - Upon arrival at Cairo airport at your requested time, you will be greeted by our tour guide to commence your half-day tour with a visit to the Egyptian Museum. This museum houses a vast collection of ancient Egyptian artifacts, boasting 120,000 items, with a significant portion on display and the rest in storage. Constructed in 1901, the building is one of the largest museums in the region. As of March 2019, the museum remains open to the public. In 2021, it is set to be replaced by the new Grand Egyptian Museum in Giza. After the tour, you will be driven to your hotel in Cairo for check-in. Enjoy an overnight stay in Cairo.
Full-Day Tour of the Great Pyramids, Sphinx, and Memphis
Pyramids of Giza - After breakfast, our tour guide will pick you up from your hotel to begin your full-day tour with a visit to the Great Pyramids of Giza, the oldest and largest of the pyramids in the Giza pyramid complex, located near present-day Giza in Greater Cairo, Egypt. It is the oldest of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Next, visit The Great Sphinx of Giza, a limestone statue of a reclining sphinx, a mythical creature. It faces directly from West to East and stands on the Giza Plateau.
Memphis and Sakkara - Continue the journey by visiting Memphis, or Menefer, the ancient capital of Inebu-hedj, the first nome of Lower Egypt, known as mḥw. Its ruins are situated near the modern town of Mit Rahina, 20 km south of Giza in Greater Cairo, Egypt. At the end of the tour, you will be transferred to Cairo airport for your final departure.
