A Must Visit - Mohamed was excellent in my tour at The Egyptian Museum … he explained the history logically and I learnt a lot. It’s a lovely museum and I highly recommend going with Mohamed. Without a guide it would not be anywhere near as good.

Half day visit to Egyptian museum in Cairo - Great experience...our guide Abdelwahed 'Abdo' was a very knowledgeable young man and really managed to bring our private tour alive. I would recommend this tour with Abdo as guide without hesitation. The tour itself would be around 2 and a half hours unless you wish to go into greater depth of detail...one point of note... the remaining King Tutankhamen artefacts will soon be moved to the Grand museum in Giza. Thank you Abdo for a very pleasant and informative morning

Best tour guide ever - We had the time of our lives. Our guide Eriny knows her history. She was very detailed in all of story telling of past lives before us. In fact she told us so much information that it made me feel like I was there living in those times. She also took us to shops where I was able to buy everything on my list and helped me get the best deal and that they were authentic. We could not have asked for a better guide. Our driver was great as well, he was very patient and maneuvered the streets of Cairo and Giza with ease. Sorry I can’t remember his name but he was great. Thank you to the both of you for make our first guided tour the best ever. They have set the bar high for our next few tours.

Feel to be in the antic Egypt and perceive the power of Egyptian king - Excellent guide, museum very interesting. You feel you are into the history e perceive the power of the egyptian king. Important sculptures that I saw only in the school book.

Top notch experience! - Hala was a delight! She showed us some of the masterpieces in the museum and discussed the importance of each piece. Then took us to see how the paper, papyrus, was made. Afterwards took us to a jewelry shop because I mentioned I wanted a necklace like hers-a cartouche! She was amazing! Highly recommend!

Very impressed - A great experience - wonderful museum, we bow to the history of Egypt! Great and impressive. Also the organization (pick-up and return transport) worked excellently The obligatory stopover at an Egyptian manufactory (in this case perfumes and oils) was interesting and also pleasant, not a "compulsion to buy". We were lucky to have a fantastic guide for this tour - his name is Adel.Perfect German, super competent, devoted and very understandable in his explanations, seasoned with good humor 🙂 Many explanations, narratives beyond the exhibits of the museum - perfect. Rarely has the presentation of an appreciative tip at the end of the tour been more fun and joyful ! That's what you'd like!

Great location good rooms, Avoid the taxi desk! - Lovely building with great views of Pyramids and kind staff. Carpets are a bit grubby but everything else was great except the taxi desk run by Avro tours, which was not only insanely overpriced but also useless.

So many mummies - We did not get to do this activity because we got confused with the location. No body seemed to be helpful like saying it’s too far from our hotel and the tuk tuk driver could not go on the highway. Ticket wasted but we took a city tour the next day and we did so much, including visiting this museum.
