Segesta was an ancient city of the Elymians, an ethnic group from Sicily who lived between the 9th and 8th centuries BC. This site is one of the best-preserved archaeological locations in Sicily. Visitors can admire the Doric temple, constructed in the 5th century BC, and the theater, which was built at the end of the 3rd century BC and is still used for historical and cultural events and exhibitions.
- Borgo Storico Erice - At around noon, the group departs for Mount San Giuliano, where Erice, a medieval village, is situated 750 meters above sea level. This town was also established by the Elymians. In Erice, visitors can enjoy its unique atmosphere by strolling through its medieval streets and visiting notable sites such as Porta Trapani, the Church of San Giuliano, Piazza della Logia, and the Castle of Venus.

Riserva Naturale Saline Di Trapani E Paceco - Departure from Erice to the Trapani Salt Pans is scheduled for 3:30 pm, with arrival at 4:30 pm. The visit includes the “Saline di Trapani” nature reserve, a marine oasis expertly designed for salt extraction. One of the most captivating sights at the Trapani salt pans is the view of pink flamingos on the salty waters of the tanks. This location is highly recommended for observing flamingos and windmills.
Around 5:15 pm, the group departs for Palermo. On the highway, there is an exit at Dattilo, where the best Sicilian cannoli can be tasted. This delightful Sicilian dessert, along with coffee, will be provided by the company. The journey continues to Palermo, marking the end of the excursion.
