- Lake Minnewanka - Another alternative to Moraine Lake (Oct 14 - May 31) (20 MINS). Just a fifteen-minute drive from Banff town, Lake Minnewanka is encircled by magnificent mountains. Known as “Lake of the Spirits” by the indigenous Stoney Nakoda First Nations, it offers easy walking trails and boating opportunities. In winter, it transforms into a stunning ice skating rink, often featuring intriguing ice bubbles created by trapped methane gas.
- Moraine Lake - (June 1 - Oct 13 only) Next, visit the equally stunning Moraine Lake. Spend an hour exploring this glacially-fed lake, famous for its vibrant blue color and the surrounding Valley of the Ten Peaks. - Bow Falls - Conclude your day with a visit to Bow Falls, located near the Banff Springs Hotel. Spend 20 minutes walking along the Bow River and admiring the cascading waterfalls. This is a lovely spot to relax and appreciate the natural beauty of the area.
- Banff Gondola - After lunch, take a ride on the Banff Gondola (Extra Fee) to the summit of Sulphur Mountain. Spend 90 minutes enjoying the breathtaking panoramic views of the Canadian Rockies. Walk along the boardwalk to the observation deck, visit the interpretive center, and capture stunning photos of the surrounding peaks and valleys.

Must try - Solo traveled to Banff for the first time and only had 3 days to get to sight see. A full day of fantastic sights. JM was a fantastic guide. Would definitely recommend.

Worth booking, great guide, will come back - Plan your trip in advance, the gondola is worth it compared to the hot spring based on our experience.
The guide “mike” was outstanding, i had a great time listening to his stories about the great state of alberta and the stories of banff springs

Unforgettable - Really liked the gondola ride didn’t think it would be that high up but thankfully I had good weather so I could see the town at the top is restaurants and gift shop there is also a mirrored bear and snow ducks

Great trip that everyone should take! - The daytrip was really done well. Wesaw some beautiful sites, had time for some shopping and the driver Mike, was so informative in what he knew about the history, the nature and the experience of seeing Banff and Lake Louis.

A Winter Wonderland Experience - Marble Canyon was an amazing, beautiful, peaceful hike in winter. Lake Louise, Nathural Bridge and Emerald Lake were impressive winter wonderlands. Three National Parks in one day! Our guide, JM, was incredible and so engaging with all the tour participants. The scheduled stops had to change because of conditions but it was incredible. We took the Gondola separately from this tour and that is a must visit as well.

Look behind the original price, to all the extra expenses. - It was the company that supplied the tour. From the start there were many questions they failed to answer. Like stating the gondola ticket needed a reservation. My question where do I get this? Does the company but it or do I have to make my own reservation. I had to buy it through them but at a larger price $70..00. Then the question about parking for the day? I texted them several times and then was told where to park. At a cost of additional $26.00. Then there wá how to get from parking to where they were picking us up. I had to call driver to get directions that morning, while I am standing in the pouring rain. The one good thing was our guild Ben, who was excellent and provided an enjoyable tour. All of this frustration could have been avoided by the company. If they had only outlined for all of these simple questions in their advertising. A lot if extra expensive, if I had known it I would have gone another way. Gondola was very nice but expensive.
