• Callander - The first stop for refreshments and a comfort break is Callander, where visitors can enjoy a snack and stretch their legs. If fortunate, there might be an opportunity to meet the Highland Cows, depending on the season.
• Glencoe - Known for the 1692 massacre of the MacDonald Clan, Glencoe is one of Scotland’s most renowned glens. Here, guests can disembark for a photo opportunity with the striking northern ridges called the Three Sisters.
• Fort William - Approaching the halfway point of the tour, the stop at Fort William, known as the capital of the Highlands, offers time for lunch at one of the many local pubs, restaurants, or cafes along the charming cobbled main street.
• Glenfinnan Viaduct - Famous for its appearances in the Harry Potter films, the Glenfinnan Viaduct is nestled among mountains on the beautiful shores of Loch Shiel. From the visitor center, a short walk leads to a viewpoint offering breathtaking views down the glen across Loch Shiel, featured in various Harry Potter scenes and as the loch on which Hogwarts is situated. Find a great spot to watch the Jacobite Steam Train cross the Glenfinnan Viaduct*.

*Please note that the Jacobite Steam Train is operated by a separate company, and although the tour is scheduled around seeing this, it cannot be guaranteed that the train will run on the day of your tour. This service is seasonal and operates from Monday, April 7th to Friday, October 24th, 2025.

The return journey provides an opportunity to relax and soak in the Highland scenery. The final stop is at the historic town of Pitlochry before continuing home over the Firth of Forth, alongside the UNESCO Forth Rail Bridge, on the way back to Edinburgh.
