What a Great Time - A beautiful tour off the mainland. Beautiful scenery, and wonderful wildlife! Although the water was quite cold, it was so worth being so close to the sea lions.

Amazing - Amazing experience to swim with the sea lions. There were hundreds in the water and up on the islands. Saw lots of pelicans too, some penguins but not loads

Great tour! - We had a group of 7 and we all had a blast on this tour. J was knowledgeable, funny, and gave clear instructions on boat and swim safety. He gave great info on the tour and happily answered any questions. I thought the island tour would be a bit lackluster, but the history there was pretty interesting. Seeing the penguins, and swimming with all the seal lions was a blast! We kept a respectful distance, but many of the sea lions were curious and came close. The Inca Rock makes for great photos too!

Unforgettable! - I had no idea that my first time seeing the Pacific Ocean would also entail seeing penguins and friendly sea lions in the wild. I also didn’t think I would be taking the polar plunge minutes later to swim in such close proximity to these amazing creatures! Rodrigo kept us entertained and educated and our captain, Segundo was absolutely handling these big waves. We each got a chance to take a GoPro picture in the water with the sea lions making a photo bomb thanks to Rodrigo’s offering. This excursion also adds to the conservancy efforts to the Palomino islands. So much fun!

Must do swimming with sea lions! - A must do experience. The boat ride and guide are excellent - good balance of history and biology. The sea lion viewing is spectacular- even if you don’t get in the water - but you should! The water is shockingly cold but you will adjust quickly and then you are captivated by the curious sea lions right by you. Make sure you bring a towel because the ride back is cold. If you get seasick, bring Dramamine because the waves are huge. We loved this experience.

Sea Lion Enthusiasts Will Love This - Honestly this tour was just ok for us, but that could be because this was our last day in Lima so it felt like we'd already taken this tour before. There were definitely WAY MORE sea lions on this tour than any other one we took. We also may have had a different experience had we gotten in the water but it was freezing cold and the water was really smelly and the sea lions kept fighting with each other lol (it was quite hilarious to watch their shenanigans!) The folks that did get in the water seemed to have a good time though. They were each provided a wet suit and life jacket. The snacks they gave at the end were also really tasty. If you like sea lions and want to get close a personal with them. I highly recommend. If you're not planning to get into the water, it's not really worth the money.
