Great for exploring Cambridge for the first time - Great option if you're new to Cambridge, as we were. We got an idea of the layout of the town, flexibility with the 24 hour hop on/hop off and used it to plan our day, starting with breakfast near to stop 4, coffee prior to popping into the Fitzwilliam Museum and shopping later at stop 2, plus a relaxed full tour whilst we recovered! Friendly drivers, too.

Excellent commentary on... - Excellent commentary on the bus. Liked that it came from speakers and we didn't have to wear headphones to hear it. Buses came frequently so we never had to wait more then 10 mins

Drivers saved my wallet! - An excellent way to see and get to know Cambridge, which is notoriously difficult to drive around/through - and a big ‘thank you and well done’ to the driver(s) who found my lost wallet and returned it to me with a smile on their next circuit! 10/10

Good contact making - For our schedule, we did not have time to get off at any stop, but the views and information very nice and adequate. We are left with the feeling of having to revisit the city on foot.

A good way to see the city - Our group of friends are no longer the sprightly beings we once were, so what better way of discovering Cambridge without getting tired or out of breath. As we were a small group we were given a ticket discount which was appreciated. The tour itself was very informative and the on bus commentary was clear and audible so there was no need to use the small earpieces that are supplied. On the day of our visit the weather was very good, warm and sunny with clear blue skies which made the experience all the better, overall the tour took about 35 minutes and well worth the price. A highly recommended attraction well worth doing.

Good tour - I have visited Cambridge,many times but have never used the hop on bus before. As the weather was fine and we wanted to explore we hopped on the bus and did the full tour from the city centre. It was really interesting and covered a large area. We had wanted to visit the American cemetery and the bus stopped there. A good tour and would definitely use again to visit. Faster than using local transport and a good route.

Bath Six go to Cambridge - Red Bus Trip - The six of us on a three day visit to Cambridge thought that this was well worth using as a way of getting to know the geography of Cambridge. We used it as a way of getting from the centre of the town to visit Kettles Yard and from there to The Fitzwilliam Museum and Art Gallery. Parking in Cambridge is extremely difficult and this bus trip goes all around the town and out to the American Military Cemetery on the west side. The frequency of buses can be a bit of an issue but there were a set of road works in the middle of the town which seemed to be causing timetable problems, and when the rush hour came round that got worse. So some patience was required - but full marks to the driver who stopped to tell us he couldn't take us on his bus because he had come to the end of his shift - it was just a shame that he didn't know when the next bus was coming along!!.

Dreadful service. Rip off. - We arrived in Cambridge in the afternoon and booked 2 tickets at £14 each. We were told the tickets lasted 24 hours and planned our tour accordingly. The next day there were no buses running. All cancelled. We literally paid £28 and never got to go all round!

Rattling bus, dreadful experience. Commentry good what could be heard above rattles. - Very loud rattling bus. Loud irritating, repeating, annoying music between commentary. Commentary good but could only catch half of it due to the terrible bus.

A rattling, loud, annoying hop on hop off and stay off. - We thought the hop on hop off bus was terrible. The commentary what we could hear of it was actually quite interesting. Unfortunately the bus rattled so much and very loudly we could only catch a small portion of the talk. The music in between the commentary was loud, repetitive and very, very annoying. An absolute waste of money and time.
