Best Tour Ever - DO NOT MISS - The tour was the best tour that we have ever been on and my husband and I love a city tour. David, our guide, was incredibly knowledgeable and enthusiastic. We learnt more British history, and specifically Cambridge history, in those two hours than we had gathered across an entire primary and secondary education. He wove a wonderful story and tied periods of history together so cleverly. Not only would I recommend this tour, as far as I am concerned it should be obligatory for anyone who loves to understand the evolution of a place they are visiting. What's even better is that the ticket costs all go to supporting The Round Church so you can feel righteous and become better informed at the same time. We will go again.

Dave is a top guide! - The tour started in the round church, where there was a film to view, and a lot of reading to pass the time while you wait for the tour to start. The tour itself started on time and then was paused as a guest hadn’t read the fine print and use the washroom ahead of time. Dave seamlessly covered the weight and proceeded with the tour. As it was a Saturday on a long weekend, the streets were absolutely packed with visitors and those in Cambridge for graduations. Dave managed to find a spot where the 12 of us could clearly hear him and he could point out landmarks that fit with his story. He dropped at least 1000 names and dates, but his delivery was well paced and captivating so it was easy to follow the storyline. This was actually my third trip to Cambridge and I so regret that I didn’t do this to her on my first trip! Dave gave so many tips about areas to further explore. I encourage you to make this tour your first stop in Cambridge!

Interesting tour - Enjoyed an extremely interesting tour of some of the churches and colleges of Cambridge. Despite the colleges being closed for exams, Dave provided a wealth of knowledge and interest as we toured the city. His encyclopaedic knowledge was extraordinary and he really brought to life the numerous people who influenced the changing religion, trade and society of the country. Absolutely fascinating. I shall definitely be returning to do the tour again when the colleges open later in the summer.

Ten out of ten experience! - Jo was our tour guide for the University Walking Tour. She was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and personable. She chatted with each of us and made herself available for any questions throughout the tour. Jo was extremely articulate and thorough in her explanation of different aspects of the university, and made sure to highlight connections between the university’s history and the Christian faith. I was very impressed with her emphasis on the most important foundational concepts of Christianity was blessed by her sharing of the gospel message. I would absolutely recommend this tour for anyone interested in a wonderful experience visiting Cambridge!

Kudos to Dave! - The experience was worth it. Dave, our guide, knows his craft. He doesn’t even stutter when he speaks. He has a sharp memory, and despite the long walk, he still managed to make us laugh. He is also very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. The timeline of stories were on point. He presented everything in an organized manner. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Cambridge.

Heavy emphasis on theology - The tour heavily emphasized on the religious and theological aspects of Cambridge rather than its world famous scientific work. Had I noted it earlier, I probably wouldn’t sign up for this tour. A few left the tour half way, we also left early.
