• Marina del Cantone - Participants will embark on a kayaking adventure following a briefing and brief training session on safe usage. Departing from the bustling and tourist-heavy Marina del Cantone (meeting point), the journey will head towards the Bay of Ieranto, a stunning inlet located at the edge of the Sorrento Peninsula, offering a breathtaking view of the island of Capri.

The group will spend an hour navigating through beaches, caves, steep cliffs, and small islets scattered across the sea. It feels as though the mountains have descended into the sea, enchanted by the sirens’ song!

After passing a couple of promontories, the kayakers will enter the expansive Bay of Ieranto, where the waters are calm and the mountains seem to embrace them. Upon arrival in the bay, there will be a tour, reaching the beach for a restful pause.

This stop provides an opportunity to swim in the bay’s crystal-clear waters or explore the area where an ancient quarry operated until the mid-20th century. Currently, this region is safeguarded by an environmental foundation, in conjunction with the Marine Protected Area of Punta Campanella, to preserve the bay’s natural environment.

Following the break, participants will paddle their kayaks back to Marina del Cantone.

We will enter the Bay of Ieranto, a site protected and free from maritime traffic.
