Best tour ever! - Excellent tour in small group - a relaxing trip with many opportunities to see wildlife - bears foraging on the shore, orca, seals, sea lions. Beautiful scenery, we got in close to waterfalls. It was great to go before the busy tourist season as we hardly saw another boat.

A beautiful day on the water - We had 5 days to spend in Campbell River and also wanted to see the waters in the area so we booked this trip. Guide and boat pilot Geoff was born and raised here and knew a lot to tell and had an answer to all questions. We have seen quite a few inlets (fjords) and 3 black bears, a grizzly mother with 2 puppies and several waterfalls (lunch at the farthest point). On the way back also sea lions and a group of about 20 dolphins. Finally, sea lions and seals against a backdrop of mirror-smooth water, forests and snow-capped mountains. Whales have unfortunately not seen. Inside the boat you sit dry and you can sit on the aft deck or upper deck. We can recommend this trip to everyone

Great knowledge guide, awesome animal sightings! - Can't reccomend these guys enough, myself and my partner went on the spring watch boat tour on a covered boat, captained by the wonderful Bex! Bex was incredibly knowledgeable, realy enthusiastic and got everyone on the boat excited/ involved. We were lucky enough to see bald eagles, steller sea lions, californian sea lion, black bear, grizzly bear and then to top it off a black bear with 2 young cubs! It was truly magical. We were very close to seing a pod of Orcas on the way back, Bex had radioed to find out if there had been any sightings and so we diverted off on the way back, unfortunately we just missed out on seing them. But we were super appreciative that Bex tried for us, especially as it wasnt a whale tour! Also to note the food offered was really tasty, freshly prepared, didnt expect it to be as good as it was. So if you're even considering it, book now!

Bear watching tour is terrific! - Bex, our guide was wonderful- very personable and knowledgeable. She was also very safety conscious. The bear sighting we experienced were terrific. We were able to get quite close without disturbing the bears. The scenery was stunning! The waterfalls that we saw were beautiful! We had a lovely lunch on the back deck of the boat. It was a lovely day. I would recommend any tour from this company.

Fantastic Spring Bear and Waterfall Tour with Campbell River Whale Watching and Adventure Tours - Following an unforgettable experience two years ago, we returned with friends for a second tour with friends, and it did not disappoint! Steve and the team were once again outstanding, and our guide Brad was knowledgeable, engaging, and made the entire journey both fun and informative. The boat was exceptionally comfortable, with space for 12 passengers and plenty of options to enjoy the scenery (indoors, outside, and even from the upper deck for panoramic views). We were lucky to spot several orcas along the way, set against breathtaking coastal backdrops. The waterfalls were absolutely stunning, and we had the incredible opportunity to observe five black bears in their natural habitat. Lunch was thoughtfully provided in sustainable packaging and local produce, and everything was delicious, especially the oat cakes (I’d love the recipe!). An all-around magical spring adventure, highly recommended for anyone visiting Vancouver Island.

Great waterfall and bear tour - We absolutely enjoyed our trip. Marty was great to take time, answer questions, navigate the boat so that everyone would have plenty of time to see everything. His interactions with our 8 year old were also just super fun to have him engaged in all that goes on around the boat. We saw bears, whales, eagles, seals and plenty of waterfalls. A local arranges their lunch packs and they were absolutely great!

Outstanding! - Outstanding! We went in the spring bear and waterfall tour and the zodiac four hour whale watching experience. The guides on both tours were extremely knowledgable and enthusiastic and really cared about both our experience and that of the wildlife. We were extremely lucky to see bears, humpbacks and orcas. We also got to see eagles, seals, sea lions and other birds galore. Couldn’t rate the company or guides more highly! (The lunch in the all day tour was great too!).
