Unforgettable day - An unforgettable experience. Wonderful day with our guide and captain Jarek. Can’t always control the weather or sightings especially towards the end of the season but we were extremely lucky with both. Jarek was fun, knowledgeable and made sure we got up close to the humpbacks we encountered. A stunning and rare display at the end of orca circling and harassing a humpback and its “fight whale” response. So lucky to have seen it. First Nation guides at Toba were excellent and we saw two grizzlies feeding, eagles and deer. Lunch in the sun on the dock was great. It is important to this company to be as sustainable as possible. Stunning scenery, very comfortable 12 seater boat with toilet. Able to get up on the outside and front of the boat when drifting. A perfect day, thank you so much.

British Columbia’s beautiful west coast - This was great trip and a fantastic experience for me (a local BC person) and especially for my English friend and visitor. It was a bonus to have fantastic weather, but it would have been a great trip anyway. Jarek and Leon are exceptionally knowledgeable, kind, thoughtful guides and leaders. There is never any guarantee with trips like this that a person will see wildlife, but the real benefit is to be out in BC’s beautiful west coast, seeing the ocean and the mountains and understanding more about the interconnections between the wilderness and the people who live and work in our part of the world.

100% Success for us both times - Our second visit to Campbell River WW was even better thn before. This time we had the whole day to Toba inlet with our guide Jarek. It's great to be taken on a tour by someone who loves their job, he was very patient with us and ensured every question went answered. The tour got off to a flyer with calm seas, 20+c weather and an immediate Humpback and Orca sighting. We watched them for 20 mins before heading on to Toba inlet, a 2 hour journey out with a handful of slowing for sights etc. The first nation guides at Toba were excellent and welcoming. They made sure our bear tour was safe and that we also did not disrupt the wildlife unnecessarily. We, after a few misses found a mother with her two cubs eating salmon straight from the river. A real sight to behold. Really recommend this company for tours, we've struck gold both this time with Jarek and last time with a chap called Quinn. Maybe back next year!

A magical and memorable experience, seeing whales and bears in their natural surroundings. - From start to finish, it was a totally brilliant experience. Our skipper Tyler.W was very friendly, knowledgeable and competent in all aspects of the day. When another boat was experiencing difficulties he handled the situation in a professional and calm manner. The trip to the Toba Inlet was made all the more special as we saw killer whales and on our return we were treated to a display of humpback whales. The two indigenous guides who took us to look for bears were both very helpful and answered any questions. We felt safe at all times and were lucky enough to see bears at close , but not too close quarters! The refreshments provided on the boat were delicious and ample for the day. We would highly recommend using this company.

Exceptional and unforgettable experience - We had the most extraordinary day on the Toba inlet grizzly tour. Our skipper and guide for the day, Jarek, was super-welcoming and enthusiastic and very knowledgeable about the local area flora and fauna as well as an impressive amount of history. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide. Our guide onshore, Benny, from Klahoose first nation, was very hospitable and knowledgeable and helped us to view the grizzly bears safely and respectfully. You can never guarantee what wildlife you will see on any particular trip, but we were incredibly fortunate to see two pods of resident orcas, porpoises and white-sided dolphins on the way out, male and female grizzlies and cubs, as well as humpback whales on the return trip. Even the catered lunch and refreshments were excellent. Thanks so much Jarek, Benny and team for an unforgettable experience.

Toba Inlet Grizzlies & Whales ( jump back & grizzlies) - It is beautiful, sometimes intense, sometimes slow depending on animals. It is nature so manage expectations.
