Best way to experience the mekong delta! - In short: awesome tour and we highly recommend it. It was just the two of us (no else booked it) and our guide Lee was brilliant. The bike ride through the Mekong Delta gives you a very hands-on feeling about the life here. You go around off the beaten track and see how people live & work. The overnight stay in a local inn was quite nice as well and you get to see another city. Lee (our guide) also found vegetarian restaurants per our request. We also got to see local restaurants, foods deserts, what we normally wouldn‘t have dared to order. He also told us about local life, school, religion, and so on. The speedboat to Cambodia/Phnom Penh was a smooth experience as well. Lee dropped as at the hotel, we got picked up the next day, got a breakfast-to-go from the hotel and were well in time at the boat. Emigration from Vietnam and immigration into Cambodia was all handled by the staff on the boat (you basically just get off the boat twice and wait for everything being handled). So, overall: if you want a very close experience of the Mekong Delta, ride bike while doing so, get see local people and eat in local restaurants combined with an chill boat ride to Cambodia, book this trip. Also: no hidden costs. Everything was handled by Lee (our guide), except dinner on the last day.

3 Day Mekon Delta cycling and canoeing - This trip was one of our best experiences on this holiday. The cycling and canoeing arranged were all well organised and allowed us to visit places and see some fantastic sights we would never have found on our own. Our guide, Bao, was great company and fantastic at selecting well researched routes and choosing great places to eat well off the beaten track.
