• Banff National Park - Your evening starts at our preferred local lookout, where you’ll enjoy a breathtaking nighttime view of Banff, with the town lights glowing below and the surrounding peaks silhouetted against the sky. From this elevated spot, your guide sets the mood for the night, providing thoughtful insights into Banff’s history and the development of this mountain town — a serene, reflective beginning that encourages you to unwind and leave the day behind.
• Lake Minnewanka - A short, scenic drive then takes you to Lake Minnewanka as dusk settles in. By the water’s edge, the pace remains leisurely as your guide shares captivating stories about this place — from Indigenous perspectives and enduring connections to the land, to the wildlife that roams the area after sunset.

Leaving Lake Minnewanka, you’ll journey a short distance further into the park as the forest darkens and night falls.

• Two Jack Lake - Upon reaching our specially chosen viewpoint on the shores of Two Jack Lake, you’ll relax in premium heated chairs, thoughtfully selected to keep you warm as temperatures drop. You’ll have access to telescopes, binoculars, and iPads with constellation-identification apps, allowing you to explore the night sky in vivid detail. Planets, star clusters, and distant galaxies come into view, turning the sky into a living map of light. Proceed to Lake Minnewanka at dusk, where the guide brings the landscape to life with insights into local wildlife, Indigenous perspectives, and the area’s natural history.

As night falls, arrive at Two Jack Lake, a tranquil and secluded stargazing site. Relax by the lakeside with the group and enjoy a peaceful, immersive experience under the stars.

With telescopes, binoculars, and constellation tools, explore planets, star clusters, and galaxies in vivid detail while savoring a warm drink in comfort.

This is a leisurely, atmospheric evening designed to help participants disconnect, unwind, and experience Banff in its most serene form.

• Minimum Age: 6 years. Not suitable for children under 6 years old.
• The tour begins with pickups in Canmore, followed by pickups in Banff approximately 30 minutes later. You will receive your pickup details after booking, so please be sure to review this message carefully to help you prepare.
• The stargazing tour is weather-dependent. To ensure the best experience, the tour will only proceed if the skies are clear and not overly cloudy. If the weather conditions, such as heavy cloud cover, rain, or snow, affect visibility, the tour may be postponed or canceled. Additionally, extreme cold or high winds may impact comfort and the overall experience, so the tour may be rescheduled accordingly. We will notify you as soon as possible in the event of any cancellations or changes.
• In order to participate all adults must sign a waiver prior to the tour. A waiver must also be completed by the parent or guardian of any child under the age of 18. Failure to complete the waiver will result in the cancellation of your tour.
• No-shows, missed departures, or unused services are non-refundable.

For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
